Seen that a lot of people recommend the Gardner bedchair cover but can't find one anywhere.
Can anyone recommend an alternative on experience or let me know if they are aware of an outlet having the Gardner in stock please.
Only want it as a sheet for summer.

I ordered a chub one earlier for the same reason. Will be delivered on monday so can let you know how i get on with it

Saw a mates Fox VRS over the weekend. On first impressions it appeared superior to the Gardner

I use an Ultimate cover, already sleeping under that rather than in a sleeping bag. Has a mozzie mesh.
In the winter it provided, obviously, a decent cover over my sleeping bag.

I have the Gardiner COMPACT AND NORMAL and could not wish for anything better
So I cant give an opinion as I dont own ether of them but the 2 below get glowing reports from a lot of people so think they would be good alternatives check them out

I didnt order a chub one at all, was a cygnet one. Seems decent enough. There is a hood at the foot end that fits over the end of the solar bed. Its quite snug so should stay on there, could just do with being a bit of a bigger hood but its designed to have a single leg go through it so that would hold it more securely. You could easily fit a bit of paracord or some sort of strap round the bed frame and secure the hole on the hood to the frame to hold it better.
It also has 2 securing loops at either side of the head end, these are in a really convenient place for the solar bed as the frame is exposed in that area so easy to clip them on. Im not sure if there could/should have been another clip half way down the cover, but only time will tell. Pretty happy with it for the money though.
Material seems decent enough, and not to thick so will hopefully be perfect for the summer months

Like the look of that one in the Link Gerry quilt rather than fleece etc.. my Cult Tackle sherpa is a heavy fleece spot on in very cold temperature no good for the other ten months of the year, fathers day coming up will be putting one of these on the wish list I think.
