Yup he is in the firing line today and from the sounds of it not just from the opposition.

I genuinely think it could lead to big trouble for him - its not the massive issues that bring down governments usually, but more a lot of small things one after another.

Dominic Cummings & the Castle, Matt Hancock and that kiss, MP's seconds jobs and trying to change the rules for their own, drugs in the commons, Piri Patel bullying, the farce which was the speech a few weeks ago, and now the Xmas party in his own house that never was, but his own staff filmed laughing about it...... all this under his watch

Don't forget him also saying he had nothing to do with rescuing that fella in Afghanistan with the dog sanctuary, then a letter from his personal secretary surfacing, while other innocents were denied and lost their lives

It would be fun if after every new guideline announced a reporter had the cheek to ask

'And what are the rules for parliament?'

So much wrong with the tearful speech from the now ex media spokesperson ... probably the most ridiculous statement was when she talked about the integrity that the British people expect from number 10. I don't think anyone expects integrity from that shower after the last 18 months..

Honestly, I feel really depressed. Had a txt from a mate quoting Johnson about 'having to have a national debate about mandatory vaccinations'. My heart sunk. That's all out total tyranny.

I've not been following anything in respect to this famed party, nor do I really care. I'm of the opinion - not a scientist with all the facts and could we'll be wrong - the worst of this meme flu has passed. What we're hearing about this omni whatnot is one giant nothing burger, regardless of that, the fear mongers having been baring their teeth since around October with tales of woe, mass deaths etc, and then this party that happened is all the ammunition that they've needed to put pressure on Johnson as they're fully aware that he's a reactionary who buckles under pressure. To distract from this Christmas party, Johnson has gone Plan B as a perfect distraction, turned, banked hard right away from the prevailing flack.

I think we're on the event horizon of total and absolute dystopia. The good times have gone. The days of the illusion of having a modicum of relative freedom and interference from .gov will be fewer and fewer as time passes and marches onwards. We're headed right down the plughole, which, as I see is part and parcel of this whole "great reset' and 'build back better' agenda, and as I see it, none of that *better* part of build back is for you, you are just there, getting in the way.

Johnson, Starmer, the Kranky, they're all the same and follow the same agenda. Like the Levellers song goes "they sold us down the river".

I do apologise for the negative sentiments in my post, it's just that that's how I see this all panning out. I hope I'm wrong about everything I've written.

Already the Pfizer CEO is said to be ready to roll out the 4th shot. You'll never be fully vaccinated. The cynic in me says that this hasn't got anything to do with money, right? I'm mean, given what has been said of how mild this new version of Covid is.. basically the common cold, yet still they're hawking endless shots. It'll never end given the current trajectory.

It's depressing like you say.......follow the science is one thing but this is from handpicked yay sayers.......professor Ferguson has been wrong so many times yet he is the driving force of decisions, any other professors / scientists who don't agree with his modelling and forecasts is simply cast aside........

This Plan B crap is a simple deflection tactic from all there wrong doings.......

Exactly, just being a decent human being seems a bit too much for some, and that attitude will no doubt will signal the end eventually for mankind.
One good thing that has come out of this whole mess with the Christmas party scandal is, the anti vax brigade who believe the government's are all in on it, and it's one massive reset are now wrong, as our own government cant even keep a Christmas party under wraps, let alone some massive conspiracy about a great reset 😂

I'm not a conspiracy theorist whatsoever usually but I enjoy macro economics and investing in the stock market so have a bit of knowledge of how the governments have printed endless amounts of cash over the last 18 months and we're now feeling it from inflation in almost everything. The value of the £ has dropped significantly because of the fiat currency debasement.

Phzer made £3.5b in the first 3 months of 2021 and there's been slow down in uptake of vaccines and boosters yet. No wonder the government are pushing the narrative of the vaccine, they just raised the corporation tax threshold to 25%...

Irrelevant to this conversation but the 2030 electric car revolution... what happens to the fuel duty income, electric is so cheap... let the firms go bust and let the prices rise 100% overnight. Over the next 10 years there will either be massive price rises in the cost of electric to replace the fuel duty.

There is antivaxxers because they believe Qanon *****, there is people who don't trust the government and people like myself who have sat back and watched the goalposts be moved time and time again over the last 2 years when we were told the vaccine was the way out of this pandemic! The lies just keep coming about unvaccinated filling hospitals, the unvaccinated this, the unvaccinated that.......

You then have to ask yourself What's the point of us all being vaccinated when places like Africa are so far behind??

All this crap about being a decent human being all of a sudden is laughable.......if anyone wants to take the moral high ground about being a decent human being then surely you should become a vegan, open your door to the homeless in this country, listen to Greta speeches before bedtime, stop using your car / flying off on holidays, donate all your spare cash to charity, stop buying ***** from Amazon, dress in rags to stop funding Far East sweat shops etc etc etc.

Covid is still just as rife, it's clear to see the vaccine does absolutely nothing to affect the transmission, 45k daily figures hasn't really changed all year. It is slowing the deaths though so therefore surely only over 50's or vulnerable need the vaccine?

You do know that's how science works dont you? It evolves and what we are seeing is an ever evolving situation.

I'm not sure what you have read, but there is nothing that I've seen that the vaccine is fully effective, so by going on that, then the virus will always be here, but the scientists know how things change, and they know a virus mutates, all stuff we have been told by people who know their onions, so given all that info why do you think it's all lies, everything the scientists said would happen has happened!!!

In regards to places like Africa, they certainly have their issues, but number 1 job of the government above all else is to protect its people, that's it, nothing else protect the people you serve.

Being a decent human being isnt crap, surely it's nice to know if you put on a mask or stay 2 meters away from someone it could save their life, it's not a hard thing to do is it?? I dont think anyone has died from wearing a mask in Asda yet? But yet people dont, and that sort of attitude of I know better because "I've done my research" attitude is what I'm on about will be the downfall of the human race

Not all scientists share the same view as the ones the government choose to use.......take Ferguson for instance! Wrong so many times, broke the rules yet is the driving force of lockdowns and restrictions.......

You honestly believe BJ and his mates have the best interests of the people at heart........let the bodies pile high ring any bells?!

Wearing a mask......doesn't make you a decent human being does it......

@ George - that's been said for a long time, no one is listening as to much money involved like you already know.......

Omi is a smoke screen for the short comings of the government and very convenient right now. It's confirmed less severe by scientists but there ignoring it!

I Cant wait to get out and go fishing, shopping and having a pint in my local......oh and it's only 15 days until the days start getting longer again.......something to look forward to I suppose........

All those experts will also tell you successful viruses mutate to become less deadly and survive.
Christ, with a 98% survival rate before vaccines the end of mankind is going to be a bloody long time coming!
Forget covid, if people's income dries up because of any measures put in place by these clowns all hell will break loose. I for one will be taking what I need from whoever I want, **** it.
They've lost control of rent prices in relation to mortgages, energy will become a luxury to poorer working classes and tax will be hiked to pay for ****ing furlough.
I'm at the end my tether and it's not wearing a mask or not getting into a pub or venue I have no interest in visiting that's doing it.
Try forcing the vaccine on me, I dare you....
Yesterday's press conference was comical. They might discuss mandatory vaccination. Which with 80% vaccination in adults or whatever it is means it's coming.

I've already said I dont believe in the government, but I do believe in the science, and I certainly do believe the scientists who are at the top of their game, I mean why wouldn't you? What has the average joe got that could trump them? Absolute zilch is the answer.
Now omicon could be seen as being very convenient, but it is a real thing, and it is spreading, now what we are being told by those who know is that the more it's out there, the more it has chance to mutate, just because this one could appear to be milder, doesnt mean it could mutate into something more sinister.
As I said I'm happy to follow the science, so will do my bit, that's all I can do

Not that I've bothered to much digging, but I'll wager, you have a look about, I'm certain that these so called scientific advisors are in some way funded by the public purse, either directly or indirectly, indirectly like working for a uni that is getting a few quid from .gov, and if these advisors don't follow the party line, the funding tap of whatever they're working on dries up and that's there lot. It's a well known phenomena. You'll find that the scientists who offer a different view to what's being presented are self funding or are not part of some .gov gibbs program. Unfortunately science has been going this way in all sorts of fields, basically corrupted to the point of being a farce, things like astronomy get a free pass and there's genuine scientific metholodgy being applied and honest open debate, not so much elsewhere.

I really don't care who's telling me the truth, the truth is the truth at the end of the day. What's been presented so far seems so murky and dishonest.

No, but successful viruses do.
If the virus killed us all it would be no more and nature is unlikely to be that inefficient.
If it killed us all the jabs would be as inefficient as the sceptics expected.
I'm sure it would all be blamed on the unvaccinated in the afterlife, regardless of the fact it's actually being spread globally by vaccinated and negative tested individuals. 🤔

Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to circumnavigate the m25 licking the lids of all Costa coffee machines and sneezing on door handles. I might even cut out the middle man and mow down some elderly folk in the van

Not entirely true, a virus could have a very high death rate but a long incubation time and still remain very successful. I can't remember which one it is but there's a virus which has an incubation period of 12 years, so during that time you don't know you have it but you could be infectious...

It's been suggested that the uncubation period of omicron might be a bit shorter than delta, which is a 'slightly' good thing.

Regardless of what did or did not happen it's being investigated and will be dealt with, meanwhile back in the real world today you'll still need to follow guidance to keep yourself, your family safe and people you come into contact with safe.

If you don't follow the guidance including not getting vaccinated and then boosters and this leads to you being infected which could lead to a fatality or serious long term health issues for yourself, your family or people you come into contact with then you are to blame. Remember you made the choice to ignore the guidance which came from the scientists/doctors.

Obviously different if you make every effort and follow guidance, you can count these people an innocent victims.
