Hi
Looking to buy the fortis snugpack sleeping bag to go with my avid level lite bedchair.
I see the compact is about the right size, but I'm a larger guy at 6' and 18st.
Will the compact be to ‘snug' given my larger size.
I don't wanna drop £200 and have a bag to small or big.

I've had a Fortis Snugpack for a couple of years and find it spot on. I'm 6'1 and 17st. It's just the right size for me ;-)

So not the compact?
The bedchair is 200cm x 80cm.
Compact is 195cm x 80cm.
Std is 210cm x 90cm.
I guess the width won't be an issue a bit of sag!

They only slightly overhang which allows for better movement in the bag

Does the Fortis have a strap in the middle for securing to the bed?
Or only the elastic hoods on both sides?

No strap,just a hood either end

Do not buy the compact... It may fit the bedchair but it will not fit the bed with you in it. I'd be surprised if anyone over 5' 8" gets on with the compact bag, turn over in the night and the zip will undo...

I have heard others say theirs has got the strap,I have had two of these bags and neither of them have had a strap

Best bag I have ever had, well worth the money, been lovely and snug when the lake has frozen 👍

Wish they would bring one out about 220 x 100 for wide beds.

not 100% sure how long Ive had it but from memory I bought it about 18 months after it first came out.

I looked at one last week, it didn't have a strap so I left it. Poor decision by Fortis.

Mine hasn't got the central strap, it was there second model. Think they removed the central strap and made the baffles larger. Strap makes no odds personally

Well I went with the standard bag as recommended. I have an old bedchair cover but I'll look for a gardener one I think as they have good reviews.
Just need to sell my old van-tec 5 season and the van-tec 3 season summer bag too!!
