Well, I that was a rough ride watching young Kyle Rittenhouse go through that trial which should have never been brought against him in lieu of the videographic evidence. Kyle is literally a hero 👌

I'm not surprised one bit that the lefties are trying to stoke riots, I mean, what the hell has this got to do with black people? Three white people were legally shot in self defense, two of whom are no more, yet somehow BLM activists are trying to equate these legal shootings with black people being shot, I mean, how disingenuous can some be?

Legit judge & a jury that wouldn't back down to obvious intimidation & total BS from certain media outlets!!
The judicial system obviously works in the US as it did in the Floyd case !!

He's really not a hero, and this sets a dangerous precedent where the logical endpoint is full blown civil war in America.

It appears he was acquitted within the strict definition of the law which surprisingly includes entitlement to shoot if he believed he was going to be assaulted. You have to wind back from the trial and then consider gun and public order laws that allow a creepy white 17 year old to travel from out of state and march into a crowd where his appearance with a semi automatic rifle would generate alarm and anger. It goes without saying that had he been black he'd have been hunted down and killed by the police.

The precedent this sets is appalling - basically armed individuals can freely turn up at a protest and start shooting if they believe they are going to be assaulted. Armed militias is a term you associate with Lebanon or Gaza, instead this is Wisconsin and Michigan. It'll end in a blood bath or white suprematists and fascists in America will drive all protest off the streets. After that they'll come to victims' homes looking for them.

So the White guy who pointed a gun at Rittenhouse wasn't a creepy white guy then 🤦‍♂️
I guess you were oblivious to those peaceful protests according to CNN across America last year then ?
If you'd followed the trial you would have realised that it was a total sham & that was the evidence produced by the prosecution 😂

Instead of travelling across state lines with an assault rifle, he could have stayed at home and nobody would have died. Instead, his mother drove him straight into the middle of the protest where he killed people. If you think that's justifiable in any way, then I certainly can't help you - likely, nobody can.

It's not about feelings. Trying to argue this way just makes your position even less convincing than it already was.

Here's what I said;

"It appears he was acquitted within the strict definition of the law which surprisingly includes entitlement to shoot if he believed he was going to be assaulted."

I understand the legal system.

Tell me, what do you think should be done with desperate kids in this country who carry knives in self defense?

I don't think the rifle crossed state lines on the day of the shooting to be fair.
I also very much doubt it was an ‘assault' rifle. Civilian ar15s are just single round and basically a long pistol.

Well it seems your knowledge of Weapons is about as accurate as your knowledge of the Us legal system

What does the AR stand for in the AR 15 rifle?
Some people might mistakenly label the AR-15 an assault weapon and therefore assume that AR stands for “assault rifle”. This is incorrect. In fact, the AR in AR-15 stands for “Armalite Rifle” because Armalite was the company that originally designed the AR-15, and it is, of course, a rifle. It's not the most original name, but there you have it. 😉

As said, it doesn't.
They are no different to a normal hunting rifle.
If it was fully automatic he'd have wiped out loads of people, or missed completely if he's limp wristed

And kids are carrying knives and guns because music and fashion glamorises gangs, street violence and cooking coke..

If firearm ownership was legal in the Uk then yes too right I'd own one !!

It's an observation, not a card.

Fact is, you'd argue that some black kid carrying a knife in the UK should be sent to prison forever (or back to wherever he comes from) but a white kid carrying a gun and shooting people is legit; in this case, the legality helps cover up your prejudice but there's little doubt that you're content when ever the white kid is doing the violence.

There is so much wrong with this post, to the point it's difficult to know where to start.

If the left and their mass media machine don't get their house in order and stop agitating the likes of BLM, standing down police departments, even going so far as to de-fund the police, sure, things look very likely to escalate to the point of civil war.

I will never know the mind of Kyle in respect of his motivations for going to Kenosha that fateful night other than what he has stated in testimony, that being he was there as a medic and to help protect property that was being looted and burned. I honestly believe that being so civically minded as to help stop the place from burning to a crisp even if that isn't your property is an amazing thing all of itself and should not only be commended, it should be emulated. The more people prepared to put themselves on the line for the greater good is astonishing in my book and it's a shame that this sort of thing doesn't happen more often.

It's true, he did come from another state, as he was legally eligible to do so, like all Americans are able to exercise that same right regardless of whom you are. His father lived in Kenosha and also he worked in Kenosha, his rifle was kept at his dads in Kenosha...all legal as per the judges view. As has been pointed out by many talking heads/media types, the left play possum with the southern border with hordes being flown at night into all parts of America at with little regards for borders, yet all of a sudden, borders matter? Seriously.

I don't think this sets any president at all, other than if you're being attacked by a mob just because you have a gun and are legally able to so, you are legally within your rights to protect your life with lethal force, and dammed right too.

That's a nonsense argument...you are not legally able to carry a knife or any other item for self defense in the U.K, you certainly can carry a gun legally in the U.S on a state by state basis and can use that gun for self defense where laws permit...like Kenosha.

I'll add: if this all happened with a black kid for instance and the black kid reacted to black kids doing the same as what happened to Kyle, I'd commend him. I'd go as so far as to say that if any colour you want to pick was being attacked by any other races, again, same goes, hats off to defending yourself from a vicious attack.

He wasn't there as a medic. He was there as an agitator for violence, and boy, did he get what he wanted - killed three people.

It shouldn't take some random from another state to "help protect property that was being looted and burned" - the industrial military complex (e.g. the police) are more than capable of carrying out that role.

Civically minded does not equate to shooting dead your fellow human beings.

Conflating travel between internal and external borders is simply daft.

What do you think of black kids carrying knives? Drowning refugees in the channel? The death penalty? I'm sure I could guess.

Yes he was there as a medic as he had medical training. If he was there for violence then he would have been found guilty...which he wasn't. Not guilty was the verdict on all counts with prejudice.

He wasn't a random; coincidentally wasn't blown up bicep dude aiming a handgun at Kyle an out off towner, think he was wasn't he? The kid worked in Kenosha and his dad lived there where his gun was kept. Not random

Helping put fires out, helping injured people out, seems pretty civic minded to me. As for shooting assailants, top marks, top skills for doing the guy with the handgun in the arm... vaporised.

There's no conflation, just pointing out incredible hypocrisy by the left when it suits.

It's illegal to carry a knife, so don't do it. Why are kids coming over here, is it that bad in France? I don't think we need the death penalty as there are miscarriages of justice.

I will add this: your post wreaks of logical fallacy. So much special pleading.

That's like saying that since I have a St. Johns Ambulance cert. then my attendance at an Extinction Rebellion protest is to look after people. Utter *****, and you know it.

Are you honestly arguing that putting out a fire is more civically minded then murdering three people? Come on.

Swap out the colour of the perps - can you handle it? (Rhetorical question - the answer is no).

You're obviously blinded by your own internal biases. Why don't you put down your opinion of what you *think* happened and actually look at what happened without any judgment on your part; be honest with what you see. The jury came to the verdict on not guilty on all charges,

He did not murder anyone. The people who were shot and died was in self defense. It may all sound like terminology to you, all the same, it's legal terms which have president and the full force of law behind them.wether you like it or not.

In his mothers car, he travelled across state lines to an anti-racism protest with an AR-15, with the sole intention of shooting "lefties and wokists"; once there, murdered three people in cold blood and subsequently claimed that he had acted in self defence.

Distort everything to fit your mental gymnastics and ignore every contradiction. Why are you like this?

The problem with the mordern left as we know it is it's riddled with idealism, contradiction, incoherency and some mythical utopian ideal thats totally unobtainable, couple that with post modernist thinking and we have this upside down world that doesn't fit with any known/experienced/objective reality whereby some kid doing the right thing for his community, plugging the void where police are so stretched they can't protect and serve, getting atracked by 'peaceful protesters' is somehow seen as dangerous, immoral, racist, supremisist, right wing, you name your accusation. The hard reality is that this kids actions were not any of those things. Kyle Rittenhouse done good. I'll agree that it's a shame that two people lost their lives on the particular night in question, that is unfortunate, but as the saying goes "play silly games, win stupid prizes" or "you get what you fugging deserve" to paraphrase Joker.
