Looking for venue recommendations for a group of 3 for our first trip to france. Carp upto 50lb would be ideal but plenty of possible action with 30s and 40s as well. If anyone can point us in the right direction would be appreciated. Cheers

Try Angling lines...Etang de Cailleaux,Full of Carp to over 50+ plus sturgeon to 80+ and cats to 150+.
You all fish from one bank so a great social and its a mega runs water. If you can get 5 of you then you can book the lake exclusively.

Woods lake certainly fits that requirement, may be a couple of years before availability, but we'll worth looking at

The guys in my party don't want to drive. Instead they want to fly in. Any recommendations on lakes that offer this service? TIA

Best to look Limoges way and fly into there. Plenty of water within 45 mins. Found flying just too much of a compromise tackle / lead / bait wise.

Driving should be part of the holiday and adventure, never really understood why people want to take the fly/tackle supplied option unless of course they are going somewhere like Gilhams (Thailand). With your name you could run there Forest!

That sounds like a description to the letter of Bounty Lakes. Tailor-made for first time visitors with great food, fantastic fishing***, excellent facilities and best of all, great beer... Mmmmmmmmmmmmm Beeeer! as Homer would say!

***including for cats of 100lb plus.
