I normally have 2 pairs of glasses made 1 normal and 1 polaroid pair
but prior to this many years ago while on holiday in the USA I bought a pair of quality Fitovers not available here at that time they were great
and Im guessing there must be some really good ones produced now ? I have seen some Cocoons around £60 but IM sure there are lots of others do YOU ? use any ???

I got a pair of these from Amazon and they're very good, they're called IGnaef Anti-glare Fit Over Sunglasses, Polaroid is spot on and there's plenty of room for a big pair of spectacles under them👍👍

These are best idea you can't even tell it a clip on Polaroid when on .I sell them in my optical shop this ain't a add just want to gibe people a idea as I think it's brill and I don't sell online it's a zipps frame I sell it complete with magnetic clip on for £60 just ask at your opticians they will all be able to get them .I do free single vision lenses in the base frame i,They do a couple of models https://www.facebook.com/DDOPTICALLTD/videos/165157688966420/

You're probably aware of these, but the Fortis AM/PM overwraps are the ones I've got and work well in the conditions they're designed for. Because there are so many different variations of polaroids, it makes sense, to me at least, to get overwraps and not prescription glasses. That way you have lots of polaroids for all conditions.

Fortis over wraps for me. Loads of eye protection and don't know I have them on over my varifocals. Can also see the odd thing in the water

I have been reading about polaroid and the effects
and apparently the mirrored polaroid's give superior results
so may well try a pair of mirrored Cocoons
I love my prescription polaroid's for normal everyday wear but sometimes when fishing its nice to have a wrap around type hence over fit

All I see there is a sales pitch for mirror lenses tbh
And not even polarised mirror lenses
One thing I do like with (non polarised) mirror lenses when driving, you don't get the weird affects on car screens.

I looked at so many sites I cant find the original one
I did find one American fishing page that found Deet based insect repellent is also a highly effective fish repellent

Done well in France absolutely caked in deet so it hasn't repelled fish for me .Also I have some mauriJim's and the only difference is they are super light and great to wear and look good i only have them because they were free .Polarised is polarised IE reflected glare eliminated so to say mirrored increases that is bollox and a sales pitch .I manufacture lenses and the constant chite spoke about lenses is amusing .For fishing just get a cheap polarised wrap to suit light conditions grey for when bright brown or amber for low light .Some wraps if really tight to your face don't need a fancy back surface ar coat .Opticians generally don't know much about lenses but have plenty of sales knowledge .Half the time when I do lenses for them I find myself having to do their job properly for them by changing the dispense .Every single day I have to query orders and advise .I must have 20 pairs of glasses and sunglasses even my varifocals are polarised but I would say my mauri,s are my favourite purely because I don't know I have them on and nothing else but I wouldnt pay £200 for them out of my own pocket .

Currently using Precision Angling Wensum over glasses. they have performed very well.
I did have an issue with a newer pair of the above where the lens was slightly dented and made me feel as if I'd been on the Stella!

Ehm, I think it actually depends on many other factors. I'm the person that pays more attention to the tint levels. I mean, that's what really matters to me. I mentioned that getting multiple colors doesn't always work for me, especially when I'm driving. Actually, when I have multiple color lenses while driving on a sunny day, they don't help me at all! And to be honest, that's pretty terrible. Mostly I buy all of my glasses from mojo glasses as they have a lot of great options, and you can even get prescription glasses from them.
