Any suggestions on how I can get two jammed sections on my Corus bait pole separated would be very welcome.

Had this happen with a rod. Bag of ice or frozen peas around the joint and seperated nicely after 10 mins

Cooling or heating would do it usually (whilst on the bank) I would boil a brew.

Would go for the ice is anything warm would usually make it expand

Just a random suggestion but would WD40 sprayed on it and left to run down. Tried on on a zip that had been jammed for years on a bag and didn't bother me until i thought **** it

Take it to your local tackle shop, bound to be a match chap in there who'll sort it

If it's hollow,get some ice down inside the the male section,give it 5 mins then a hairdryer on the female section.Worth a try.

Pair of rubber gloves, stick it behind your knees, hands just slightly narrower than your legs, grip tight and squat.

Had this happen to me on my AI pole, ended up smashing it to pieces 😂 tried getting spare sections to no avail so now have about 6 or so sections (broke few others) in the shed
