I have been using this great line for a few years (recommended on here). I can now no longer find it online. Why would this be?

Been using it for 20 years, wont use anything else unless i have to (i bought 15 spools of it in November

Give bobco a call, I popped in the other day and they had 12 and 15lb in stock for £25.
Had quite a bit of it as well (I moved to XT recently after it was discontinued)
Give them a call and they will post it out for you buddy. If not let me know and I'm there on Sunday, can pick some up for you.

That's bonkers to get rid of it!
Is the line actually discontinued? It still appears on the shimano website, it's just called technium, rather than technium black? The description/blurb is all the same as for the black - just a rebrand?

Strange how opinions differ, I found it horrible wiry stuff, brought it and binned it, but respect others love it.

15lb, is 12lb the way to go? Not that I would now, v happy with synchro xt.

The 12 is the sweet spot 100%
I think it was .33ish. In case the labelling has changed because there was confusion a while back with people claiming to have some super European technium that was ultra fine dia. for bs
It was actually the same with a different label. The 10lb was even better!

The 12 and 15 are very different for some reason. The 12 is lovely and supple. I never got on with the 15 but absolutely swear by the 12

I've always used 12lb when fishing here, upping to 15lb when fishing in France.
Never had a problem with either, but the 12lb is particularly good, and is as tough as old boots.

I also went to 15lb from 12lb, the 15 just takes a bit to soften up and it's fine. In the absence of Technium availability I now use Berkley CM90 which is slightly more stretchy but very tough and a really good line.
