Now that I take the slx v3 plus bivvy with me when I go fishing with my son, the Trakker oval bedchair is no longer needed so i'm looking for a new very good bedchair, I cannot lie on a memory foam mattress like the Nash / Avid
I want to make the choice between the following 3 but would like to hear some experiences from others
-Fox duralite
-Fox flatliner
-Solar bedchair (CH08 not the sp-tec versions)
Is there a big difference between the Flatliner/Duralite in lying comfort, I know that the Single legs of Flatliner lock and on the duralite you can still move them even when locked. (Weight difference is big)
Someone who has the solar CH08 (2D mattress) and has also tried the Sp-tec, is the difference big?
I'm also after a sleeping bag if i go for the Solar (dont like the Solar bag)

Not sure on the bedchairs,but the Fortis Snugpak is just pure luxury.A lot of money yes, but a great sleeping bag. All the usual ,material,zips,stitching all very good.

Seems a good bag but to wide/long for me, i do alot fishing in cold nights last thing i want is a sleeping bag that is wider then my bedchair.

Another vote for the gardner carp duvet. The compact fits perfectly on a standard size bedchair. I use mine on the wychwood tactical x bed

Not on mine mate.
The stitching on the inside of my bag is absolutely appalling, I have had to redo the stitching on the inside of my bag atleast 3 times.
Looks like it was done on a Friday afternoon after a pub lunch.

Yep the Gardner carp duvet is an excellent bag for the price... Warms up quick, waterproof and comfy... Love mine 😊

I have the duralite 5 season system and it's very comfortable, extremely warm, well made and light.
Can't recommend it enough.

Monday to the store to test the duralite, flatliner and solar ch08 side by side
If i go for the fox i will take the 3 season sleep system and at a Fox cover, If i go fot the Solar still no idea what bag to take the shop also sell Fortis bags

The compact gardner bag is a better fit for most bedchair, really warm too, only downside with it is that the inner bag is held in with a toggle and a bit of dental floss, I'd broke that at the foot end after the second night.
But the bag is good enough that I had it mended/upgraded rather than send it back

2 things i dont like on the Gardner bag:
-Even the compact is big. (230x98cm)
-Non zip single inner layer
A layer that goes double in the sleeping bag or a full zipped layer is much better for my feet, In winter I often fish in freezing temperatures

I agree the Fortis bag is great
I agree the Fortis bag is great
Plus 1 for the fortis bag. Super warm, can take off the top layer and make it a summer bag, top quality. Worth every penny.
I have a trakker 365 sleeping bag it's absolutely amazing so warm I've been out In some very very cold weather and never felt a thing, plus you can unzip the inner section to turn it into a 3 season bag for the summer

I had ordered the 365 oval sleeping bag unpacked and tried, indeed very warm and many options but weighs way too much, returned it and put the oval 3 season bag with oval cover back on my oval bed.

Tested the Duralite again poor quality imo (matras is oke) Nash mf60 standard ss4 5 season strong bed but heavy and mf matras is a no go for me.
Ended up with the Trakker oval levelite tail, matrass is perfect for me , price was 305 lol what a steal price for this king bed, 08-05 we are allowed to night fish again here, looking forward to sleep in it.
