Been looking at this book for a while. Was wondering if it is a good read ? Anyone got it ? Just seen it on ebay for £20 was thinking of getting it.

I thought it was a good read, but I'm a big fan of Frank. I'd say it was worth twenty quid for sure.

Well decided to just order it. £5 delivery for it but can put up with that.
I enjoyed it. He is such a character and a good writer.
I've never read any of his books and only some of his articles in mags. I don't really books mutch. And need a good book to get into. Dave Lane and Terry hearn books I find easy to get into. I've had other books that I've not even got threw the 1st chapter and put it down and never picked them up again
Not read it and not really intending to. After listening to his Korda podcast comes across as an arrogant t**t

Ive met frank a couple of times and hes far from arrogant. Nice guy very down to earth.

I agree with you far from arrogant, Ive known him from the north west waters/ tackle shops going back many years he has always been helpful and friendly.
one of the first times i met him he was fishing capesthorne i was still a teenager at the time told him i was struggling a bit on another water he went in his rucksack gave me a variety of his high attract hookbaits to use.
The redesmere umbrella pole incident chapter is a good one, i had been told the story not long after it happened but it still had me in stitches!

His amazing gift to predict which rod and what exact moment and correct weight pushes the credibility of his story's to the limit however a definite character to under state I would say lol

Buy it. I usually don't like books that get into technicalities, but Warwick's is one of the very few exceptions. It might be blasphemy, but I actually liked it better than Hutchinson's books. Very informative.

He's a character, not enough of them around anymore. As with all characters you can take their stories as they come but at least they have some to tell.
Some of the new found shed hookbait pushers could probably learn a thing or two from the book too
