I've bought some Solar P1 back rests and screwed them into my Jag buzzbar but they don't fit correctly. They are too loose when level. Any ideas what I can do to solve this? Maybe a washer? Has anyone else had this problem?

A simple fix. Buy a packet of Jag Alarm Aligners. They are packs of washers of two different thicknesses. So depending on what you need you use a thick one, a thin one or a combination of the two. Simples.

The product is ruined by the fact they do not just put in the o rings to line them up I sent mine back...poor

Pop into your local plumbers and buy a bag of o rings. Dirt cheap.
Or search online, plenty there also in all sorts of colours if you like a tarty look.

I can't think of any buzz bars or back rests that come complete with O rings.

You do realise a quids worth of rubber washers would have sorted that, no?

Obviously I could also have said that if you'd have bought lockdowns then you wouldn't have had this issue as they are supplied with an Allen bolt to screw the backrest to the bar.


But I'm not going to.

You don't need rings if you use the Solar buzz bars as they where clever enough to design them 20 plus years ago with built in alignment.

Out of interest, what size o rings fit the P1's?
