Been up to the local today for a few beers with Mrs Fubar. There's an old guy in there who just stares rather creepily at the Misses every time we go in. Not sure why, but it got to me today so I went over and told him the perving was ok, but he should really tone it down and be more subtle and respectful.
Went to the supermarket on the way home to get some smokes and bumped into one of the guys that was sitting at his table, and I quote "Well said, he's done time for rape"

Not really quite as crazy as it sounds, I spent 12 years living in Prague.
My best friend, fishing and drinking partner Valteri turned out to be a VOR and was wanted for a double murder in Ukraine, that's propper crazy

as for the main point of your post... don't really know what to say. on one hand, he's done his time for what he did. on the other - it would make me feel very uneasy too - and i consider myself a very forgiving human being. I would say that i don't think the sentencing for rape and violent / abuse crimes are strict enough.

I'd be avoiding at all costs....

I agree on the sentences not being long enough but also the amount of rape cases that go unpunished is ridiculous.These people are utter scum and really boil my piss.

I'm living in Sydney Australia, there are currently 6500 rape kits that are still untested due to funding issues, (They can happily spend $5mill in new years fireworks though)
The London figure of untested rape kits has been reported as high as 13000, these are our mothers, sisters, daughters, father's and sons and we have the evidence to cage these ****ers. But won't test
I'd be really interested if a forum member came on and justified why these people are freely walking among us

Send him over to North Belfast,dealt with very quickly over here.There was one last week,few guys got hold of him,boiled a large pot of water,then stripped him in the road and gave him a quick wash with said water.
Cruel,justice served or unjust I'll let you decide,but it didn't raise much condemnation or eyebrows locally.

There's some right characters in the bush.
I lived opposite the hollybush in the mid 90s in a council flat with a mate of mine in Fullwood Walk. Around 15 years later after moving out ‘my mate left a year after me' there was a murder carried out in that flat and three lads arrested, charged and are still serving time. Scary thing is that on the day of the murder his sister was murdered 4 years previous on the same day. His name was Robin Freeman who was murdered. I just keep myself to myself now but if/when trouble does come to your door ‘which it did to me one night for no other reason than a couple of men in my yard trying get in my shed' then you have to stick up for yourself because if you don't then they smell the weakness and thankfully they've never been back.
