I've used a Union Jack Aqua quiver and sleeves for years. But I want more protection for my new rods so I'm thinking of going back to a proper rod bag. But I've not bought one for years and I'm a bit clueless. I'm quite happy to use a three rod, then separate sleeves for spod/marker. But I also would use a five rod if ones a lot better than the rest. I like the look of the aqua Tristar and Solar SP. anyone use these? Dubious Aqua quality??
What do you guys use? 3+2 or 5 rod or even a super padded quiver etc.
Appreciate any ideas.

I suggest single bags, more protection and not so bulky and heavy.

Yeah someone else suggested that to me but I've not had a chance to look at it yet. Do they do a full rod bag or only sleeves and is all their stuff DPM only?

Use the trident 4/5rod brilliant piece of kit. Two zipped sections for rods and 3open sections. Kore room than I'll ever need. No issues with quality either.

I went through the speero 5 rod holdall, cotswold 5 rod quiver and sleeves, korum holdall and finally have one that is perfect... the aqua black series full rod. I like the 3+2 setup as having 5 reels all together is really bulky. It's really well made, not anywhere near as bulky as the others I've had and has plenty of room for everything else. If I could change anything about it then I'd like the reel pouch sections to be ever so slightly larger to accommodate the spod and marker reels but otherwise it's brilliant.

Got the trakker NXG 3 rod COMPACT 12ft really happy with it, so bought the 13ft version when I got my new rods.

So I'm wondering if one of the more compact designs might suit better. Having said that. That savay big looks a proper bit of kit.

Have you looked at the Sonik sk-tech 5 rod?
I have the 3 rod and find it very good. In fact I have 3 of them! Spod and marker set up, then 2 more for my short and long range setup

I use the Aqua quiver too and personally love it, dropped down to 10ft rods and couldn't find anything close to fit so had the quiver sleeves cut down to match, cool anyway, before this I had the Trakker NXG 5 rod sleeve for a few years, that was really good as only using it for three rods the outer two were in their own internal sleeves and the middle rod protected by them. loads of room internally for big pits and externally for nets and weigh slings etc. And the best bit, the backbone was the landing net pole, so when unpacked fold in half and chuck in the back of the bivvy Probably get slated as it's Trakker and only costs £70

I'm also in the market for a new bag as my trakker 3 rod sleeve has holes. Must have facility to carry a brolly and the sonik compact sk tek 3 rod, looks favourite. Anyone have one?
