Pile of sh!t. Being a former customer who bought their top of the range bivvy only to find holes in it and the replacement one.
Don't bother wasting your money and buy a quality product instead.

I have the Cyprinus equivalent of the fast and lite with the over wrap that I have been using for the past 3 years which has been excellent.
I have had most of the tempest bivvies (Air, compact, brolly etc..) and more recently a titan hide Xl all of which I have had issues with.
During lockdown I sold the hide Xl and all its accessories and bought the new Ripstop typhoon bivvy with skull cap and wrap. I also bought the utility front in one of the auctions and I couldn't be happier with it.
The Ripstop material is fantastic, the zip in groundsheet is excellent and everything just fits like it should. However the standard Typhoon is quite low, which isn't a problem for me.
I did have a couple of issues with the biivvy when it first arrived however they were sorted out immediately and the customer service from Cyprinus has been excellent.
In summary
I have had tempest's that have leaked
The Titan hide Xl leaked.

I've had 3 different type of tempests and a hide xl neither leaked so must have been very unlucky, I did return the hide xl because of poor quality and a pole snapping on the first go but didn't leak, my friend did buy a typhoon when it first come out but had nothing but trouble with it, the customer service was good and did help him but in the end he had enough and sold it.

Ditto (I have had 4 or 5 tbh) & only one of them had any sort of faults & that was because it was a pre-production sample V1 Bivvy that was owned by the former owner of Cygnet (before Cipher bought them) that I bought from Tackle Box where the seams came away after a couple of trips & the mozzi mesh panels all split along the seams. Tackle Box blamed it being put away wet even though it had never seen a drop of rain or moisture used in the middle of a heatwave! All subsequent Tempests I have had have all been perfectly fine with no problems whatsoever. Same as my Aqua Pioneer which people seem to claim that the seams go on them etc yet I don't know anybody personally that has had any issues with theirs (at least a dozen anglers I personally speak to on my syndicates) & mine is perfectly fine other than the weight (but that is something that has to be expected with the materials used).

just bought the K2 brolly cant fault the material but the poles are really poor quality and the cams don't lock properly. When posting on the cyprinus FB page they wouldn't put my post on because I was telling the truth about the poles, the zip in ground sheet is a pain as well and has to be zipped in before you put it up.

On my tempest brolly the nuts and bolts on the block worked loose and pegging point on the over wrap ripped off. The same thing happened on my tempest composite and wrap.

Mine have come loose as well on my tempest brolly. I just tighten them up every 6 months.

Had the HQ base 1 and 2 man and the base 1 man when they first had auctions on them. Cannot fault them. Seems like they got an audience and for some unknown reason let the quality dip whilst raising prices.

I've also got the K2 and have NO issue with the ground sheet. Just zip it in before pegging it out fully.There is no need to fit it before setting the brolly up. Not a hardship really is it? Poles aren't the best but you can always use stronger ones, again not that much of a big deal considering the price of the brolly.
If people want to pay carp tax for their brolly/ bivvy then carry on. Look at the quality of Fox stuff, plenty of issues there as well.....

Thats true of all carp companies rather than focussing on the product they focus on the profit
Nash, Fox, Aqua, all gone down hill from what was their glory day now all aiming for the holy grail the £1,000 tent costing £50 to make in China.

Can't believe that they'd do it after getting a decent customer base. Same as you say profits first.
Often wonder if the chap on here could muster up a decent bivvy who'd no doubt get a good few enquiries too I bet.

to be fair ive had cyprinus bivvys for over 5 years now,starting with a punt on a base hq 2man and wrap ,it is built better than my my trakker mk2 armo,firstly the mesh in the vents was stronger ,didnt tear when a mouse farted near it!
so then i bought a fast and light version of the aqua brolly, which came in the same box as my aqua fast and light,the thing was identical. then i bought the camoe m4 and wrap oustanding little house,i sold that to buy my typhoon,
love this ive had no problems at all with mine,bought the scull cap,utilty front,and fulloverwrap,and then orderd the cap wrap which i havnt got yet.i think there gear is spot on !in fact i bought a dpm storm for good measure thats in the loft for a back up
plus there customer service is first class.

Ive had a sleep system for a few years, about half the price of the big names. Top bit of kit. Also had the fast and light. Turned up in an aqua box !!!!

I remember when I first bought a trakker mk2 armo and that had pin ***** holes all over it. I sent it back and got another, and that had the same so just kept it.. it Never leaked, never affected performance..
Anyway back to cyprinus. I had the 2 man carbon compact DPM which was fantastic from cyprinus which saw me through a winter on rockford then I realised I would be moving to a smaller water with tight swims so took a punt on the Typhoon. I have to say it is the best bivvy I have had and I have had LOADS including the Tempest composite (material was garbage) Yes there were some teething issues such as the front poles needed a locking collar to give them enough strength (which they have now resolved) and the 2 things I would change for me personally being 6ft 4 would be an extra 2inches head room and anti twist poles.
Well.. if I had waited I could have had the Typhoon MH although I think the footprint is ever so slightly bigger than the Typhoon. There is ample room in the standard Typhoon though so wouldn't want it any bigger, as prefer a lighter more compact bivvy to carry about.
Anti twist poles.. well I am going to buy some from the after Xmas, then I will pretty much have the perfect bivvy.

Has and does everything I want at around £200 cheaper than the Trakker Tempest. Everyone on the bank that has seen it has stood and admired it.
Cyprinus after sales is fantastic. And those slating the poles, well mine had a fox logo on them (same poles) and the skull cap arrived in a trakker box.. same factory.
Some people have got great deals on the auctions. I am waiting for the utility front for the standard DPM to come up.. Transform it easily into a bivvy to take the kids with me

The prices are up on the K2 it was £200 when I bought it! it's great but very heavy. I have one of their sleeping bags too can't fault that.
Might get the fast n light from them too. No problems with the quality of the items from me so far.
