Ordered a brand new unit only for it to be delivered with 3 holes in it. Customer service has been good so far in terms of response time. Spelling on their emails need a bit of attention 
Currently sat on the bank in it and I must say it's good upgrade from my Chub Vizor. Loads of space, fairly easy to erect given the first time. Overall it's a nice bit of kit. Got the skull cap too. Although, £110 for it... should have been £30-40 max imo. Nothing to it.
They have agreed to swap it given it's got faults and clearly failed QA checks. Although not sure they do any checks in the factory it's shipped from (same as Trakker and Aqua as confirmed by Cyprinus via email to me), that's just my imo.
Anyone else got this model or anything from Cyprinus?

Can't fault any of it for build quality or value.
My fast and light I got for £70 and it turned up in an aqua box.
My typhoon skull cap turned up in a trakker box.

Surely Cyprinus is Aqua, Trakker by a different name? Just a way of offering a similar product cheaper to ward off companies like Fox etc so as to keep the money rolling in?
If Cyprinus was sending buyers products in Aqua boxes and produce products from the same place in China (in a Donald Trump voice) Aqua and Trakker would have that shut down, wouldn't they?

sometimes they are factories that have lost the contract and then do a deal with someone else.
the boxes can be leftovers.

can soon see if its the same directors. I did that quite a few years back when people on here thought they were making a choice and were getting fanboy about them.
my guess is that they aren't involved with Cyprinus.

That's really interesting.
I really couldn't care one way or another who makes these things to be honest. I was looking at their typhoon 100 and it looks really impressive. The zip in groundsheet is a great idea. I have to use a groundsheet all year as one of my dogs looses his marbles when I cast out so I have to seal him inside my bivvy so he can't see me. He likes to burrow out and a zip in groundsheet would help me out loads.

Aqua have said they have moved to a new Chinese supplier and the new supplier is better quality.
The owner of the Chinese factory that produces the cyprinus goods is apparently on the board of directors of cyprinus.
Sounds to me like trakker and aqua got screwed over by the old factory and have had to move to a new one to protect their future designs from being copied.
Not sure if that's the full facts, but it makes sense and seems plausible,especially now aqua have said they are using a new supplier.

Apparently it happens in the clothing industry all the time. Factory loses the contract with say Ralph Lauren.
Maybe not their fault. They get undercut. They keep knocking out the same clobber. As that is what they are set up to,do.
Some are still branded, but now called fakes. Technically they are. Quality control can now become hit and miss as corners are cut. Makes RL look bad. So they say, look you are making this sub standard RL stuff. We will licence you to sell it under our brand to cheaper stores like Matalan etc.
Thats how you can get genuine shoddy Timberlands online but pay double at a store and get a much better product.

I'm not sure anyone was ripping anyone off to be honest. I was told directly by cyprinus that they share the machine time/costs with trakker. It's all the same stuff, with slight tweeks to make each brand have its own identity.

This happens in every industry I sure.
I work in food manufacturing and I can 100% tell you most ready meals and other convenience foods are all very similar recipes.
