Be aware although these are advertised as "being able to fit a huge bedchair in with no dramas" check the size of your bedchair before purchasing as it's a costly mistake as I've learnt.
I have the avid benchmark x and it won't fit (too long) also anyone with a Nash indulgence wideboy ss4 guess what they won't fit either.
I checked 4 other wide boy bedchairs and out of the 4 only one would fit (solar)
I contacted ridgemonkey to say it wasn't fit for purpose but they didn't want to know (standard) so I've had to sell it and take a loss of £230 so be warned

Go get an oztent rv 3 240 cm wide but folds down to 200cm for packing will take almost any bed and basically it is what ridgemonkey have copied

Nope it's 2100 wide and my bedchair is 2100 but the bars inside reduce the width

My mate has the same bivvy and said the same thing, couldn't get his Nash sleep system in it and had to try force it in at an angle. He just bought a smaller bedchair

God knows what the compact is like 😳

I wouldn't say misleading? The dimensions are there for everyone to see and to check if that particular bivvy is suitable for them

If they said the dimensions were bigger than they actually were then yes I'd say it's misleading

Still surprised people are defending the constant oversights these tackle companies are making. All that effort in bringing out another companies product only to find that it isn't suitable for the bedchairs that people use

Its not the bivvies that are the problem ... Its the size of these bedchairs nowadays. If you buy a 1man traditional tent for instance, half the bedchair would be sticking out the door

Are you serious? Regardless of whether bedchairs are to big or not, they are what people own. If you design a product, in this case a bivvy, it needs to accommodate the gear people use.

The aqua atom was wider than this shelter.

I don't get this shelter tbh, a 30kg shelter that takes an age to put up but can only take a compact bedchair
