Just after some info on the reservoirs- walked it so many times but never really see any Angler's - apparently there's some very big carp in there but never had the opportunity to chat to anyone about it was wondering what the general info was on it in relation to how well it fished if it's worth looking at getting a ticket. I think for the price it's worth a go
I was over there last week and only saw a couple of people on mars worth
I was more interested in the canal around there which I can fish on my club ticket

Likewise - the canal is on my club ticket as well I've tried 3 Locks but haven't moved up to the tring stretch yet

There were more fly anglers on startops ( I think that was the one) than on all the others put together lol

Yeah the trout one always has a few boats out on it! But never have seen many Angler's on the others - but it's always spoken about in a good way from people who've heard from someone else

As much as possible! Took a walk around today - is it worth the 200 for night fishing how hard is it, it's very weedy I know that much.

Both get very weedy now. Value for money depends what you want not runs waters put in the time you will catch fish to low 30s. most of the big fish no more

Mega historical waters for tench, roach, catfish etc Alan Wilsons mega catches in the 80s / early 90s

It may have changed as not fished there for a few years but it was pay and display and then a day ticket when the bailiff came round. Maybe different for season ticket holders.

Parking avail at the Bridge car park. There is unofficial free parking on ressie side verge between the bridge & Wilstone village roundabout but its limited to about 3 maybe 4 cars max.
