What's everyone's opinion on the speero Luggage and how does it compare to Cotswold Aquarius? I'm in the process of selling all of my Cotswold stuff as even though it's great quality I find the designs aren't thought out. Too many pockets internally and externally and can make them a pain to use.
I was thinking of getting the speero rucksack, clip on cool bag and the brew
kit bag.

Luggage, tackle etc evolve.
I don't know what the quality of Speero tackle is, never had Cotswold Aquarius (CA), but I know CA years ago was good quality.
Maybe look at Speero before you buy.

Yeah good point. CA is still amazing quality but it just feels like they put pockets everywhere for the sake of it. You end up with luggage that doesn't feel useful.

I still use the CA quivers, but have changed over to the Aqua gear for most of my bags and really rate it. The Aqua Roving rucksack is a particularly good item.

Aqua is not in the same league as ca or speero the zip pullers pull off and the lining comes apart I've had a few bits it's happened to it all I agree with the pockets on ca luggage and there rucksacks are the most uncomfortable out there but they score on light material the aqua and speero are made from cordura which is heavy

Strange comment that, if you have stuff to put in those pockets, then surely they aren't useless? The rucksacks aren't too comfy if worn as a rucksack and the cool bags don't really stay cool long which is no surprise, but other than that the range is great

Got rid of my CA kit and changed it for Speero. The Speero ticks all the boxes for me. Rucksack is well thought out, well made and comfortable to have on your back.
Quiver is your basic bog standard quiver, but the padded sleeves are something else. They all fasten together and are adjustable to the length of your rods. Big enough for 50mm butt rings too without having to force the zip.
I also have the clip on insulated bag as an extra, does what it needs to. Bait modular system, it's ok, not as big as I expected and the hook bait pockets could be bigger. Quality is excellent though and does hold a lot of bait products.
Not sure on the brew bag as I don't own a kettle.
Looking to get the large cool bag system in the very near future.

The trouble is to many pockets you can't find gear when you want it end up going through pockets to find what you are looking for

The Speero luggage is quality,I have had cotswold and Speero is a step up again imo.Rucksack is mega comfy and well designed,I use clip on bag on top for all the bits I'm going need most,korda tackle box,two rig boxes,leads,rig tray and pva nuggets.I unclip for day sessions,clip on coolbag and the buzzbar bag all fit in my unhooking mat,feels like I'm carrying minimal gear.Buy with confidence

I agree the deceptor rucksack is a good example of this. On top of that you need the floor space of a small bungalow to access all the pockets. However the trident rod bags are still the best available

I have seen the deceptive rucksack on YouTube.
I don't think I could cope with all those pockets.
It would soon get shat up in the mud having to open it to access all the pockets.

I too have been looking at the Speedo modular cool bag . This is to replace my trakker brew bag and trakker cool box .whilst I think this would give me slightly more cool bag area which I need I was unsure whether the rest for cooking gear etc would be big enough. It would seem that the quality is there so might take a punt .

I sold all my aqua gear and got the speero except quiver.
Bought the rucksack with addon
Coolbag with coolbag addon
Bait bag.
Well made and very durable a few trips in, i removed the velcro internal pockets from the rucksack
As easier just to drop my gear in and they got in thr way.
Very impressed so far but only a few trips in.
I sold all my aqua gear and got the speero except quiver.

I recently bought the 5/6 rod bag and a few others bits and I have to say I'm impressed with the quality and value for money, and I am a fussy brand snob. The order was delivered next day and the communication excellent. Given what Cotswold Angling (CA) charge for the same/similar items I would recommend Speero, and no I have nothing to do with them, in fact I hadn't even heard of them until recently when I come across a You tube video when looking at CA gear.
