My first impression of it in the shop was it looked excellent.Well made,well thought out,I text Joshshepz as I knew he had one and abuses his gear.The reply has convinced me to get one and as soon as the shop has got it in I'm buying one.Josh said its comfy,still like new after all the use,it's seriously well made,all straps and stitching reinforced.The only downside he could think of is the pouches inside,if you take them out and put them on the ground the velcro on them picks dirt up

Great bit of kit. Best rucksack I've used. Had the original Nash pursuit 90l, fox, chub and latest aqua rover over the years. Nothing comes close in regards to quality and functionality.

I have one, and can only echo the other good feedback from others so far...
Good quality, nice and sturdy , plenty of room...mine is loaded to the hilt 😁 decent harness system on it, particularly like the built in buzzer bar and bankstick section pocket ...and if needed just clip on the additional pouch or coolbag for longer sessions etc...

I have gradually switched over all my main luggage items to speero now, rucky, carryall and rod holdall...very pleased with quality...deffo worth a look imo

My sticks are separate mate as alarms on buzz bar, you may get very small alarms direct on sticks in there eg tlbs or atts etc...however think its primarily designed just for sticks to be inserted in the slots ...

I don't have the rucksack, but I do have the quiver and reel pouches with butt and tip protectors, the tackle bag, bait bag and it's all great kit, I'm really impressed with it.

Like the look of the cool bag which sits on top. Could you clip a cool bag and a normal modular bag on top of each other on the top of the rucksack?

Yes you can,I think you can even clip one on the bottom too.Take a look on hf angling Facebook page they have got loads clipped together

I can get my singlez with my RX+ attached in the bank stick pocket. It is a squeeze, but manageable.

Yep you can clip on to top and bottom of the rucky if you want, same with carryall...
I have cool bag clipped to top of carryall as use that for food and cooking kit...rucksack for all my fishing kit, alarms, waterproofs etc with an additional pouch on top for other bits and bobs... Plenty of room for everything if doing longer sessions etc

I have now got the rucksack with clip on modular bag,I also bought the modular coolbag and clip on coolbag.The quality of all the products are superb.The rucksack is the perfect size,I fitted everything in that was in my fox barrow bag and still have room(I have put my tackle box and rig boxes in modular clip on bag).I can unclip and use as day session bag.Im very happy with it all and the rucksack is very comfy on your back

I got all mine from Total Angling in Shrewsbury,they were the same price as Future Fishing in Newark but alot closer to me to go and fetch it

I've used mine a bit now and very impressed. I've been through loads of rucksacks, all the usual suspects and this one is by far the best. I'd liken it to a big version of the TA one

Slightly off topic but has anyone got the rod holdall or quiver. I'd be interested to here how these compare to the usual contenders, CA. Aqua, TA etc... I think if I was to change over, then i'd want to change the whole lot..

I have the quiver and sleeves. The quiver is bog standard to be honest, but the sleeves are unique, can be used for various lengths of rod and each sleeve clips together at the reel seat. Well made and padded.

I have the rod holdall, good quality like the rest of the range, decent padding and plenty of room in the internal padded sleeves for big pits and 50mm rods...

Plenty of room, i take 3 rods, plus spomb rod on the side, 2 landing nets and handles, retention sling and weigh staff, storm poles, throwing and distance sticks...will take everything you got 😁

The side pocket would take a brolly...

Very decent piece of kit imo

Yes it can,I have had my compact one on in rain but not for a long period(half an hour or so) the contents were dry inside and in the pockets due to the flaps over the zips

It will withstand a shower but water will get in eventually as it would with any rucksack. Brilliant luggage.

One question about the Speero rucksack that strikes me when looking at the video's. It doesn't have rigid sides like other rucksacks: is this an issue? Doesn't it collapse with heavier/bulkier items in the top, outer compartment for instance?

I am also looking at the Nash Subterfuge rucksack that looks better on this aspect with also an eva base.

Ah okay, thanks. I saw the video of carpology and it looked very (can't find the correct word) pliable and limb.also the lid was just a softist fabric while others offer more of a hardened flap.

I think because of the padding and all the outer pockets it helps it to stay quite rigid.I really rate mine,its comfy on my back and the build quality is excellent

Are you all talking about the standard speero rucksack or the compact version?
I've been looking at the compact version but I'm a little concerned that, like most small rucksacks (especially the TA one) it's too short and will sit uncomfortably on your back. Is this true?

Nope,I changed from the TA one to the compact.The compact has loads more room and is very comfortable,im 6ft and xxl in tops and it fits on my back perfectly
