Looking at getting a 3 rod sleeve. Have seen the Trakker NXG and also the Cotswold Trident. Is the Cotswold worth double the cost of the trakker? Or any others you'd recommend? Aqua Tri-Star??

To answer your first question, no, it isn't! The normal few will rave on here about CA gear but for me the quality isn't anything exceptional at all....
Aqua tri-star is quite a tight fit, plus only one small outer pocket for a couple of banksticks.
Trakker should fit the bill nicely for you...

Agree with spod, definately not worth the double the price. Cotswold prices have went stupid over the last couple of years. Ive always bought cotswold luggage and had loads of it when i was carp fishing but they are taking the piss with there prices these days. I did buy a solar sp sleeve for my spopper rod for my barbelling on the trent and im very impresed with the quality of that, only £25 inc postage as well. The cotswold single l sleeves are nearly £50 now 😳

Have trakker improved the padding,my mate had a single sleeve and it was like paper

I sold all my cotswold gear,the padding of the rod bags is superb though.The speero rodbag is very well padded and alot cheaper,I believe they are working on some tri-sleeves

I bought the Aqua Black Series Compact Tristar 3 Rod Holdall. Im happy with it, its a 2 up 1 down system. It has good padding and it has a deep pocket for your net and a pocket for banksticks.

Looked at the Speero but I need 13ft sleeve - think Speero only do 12ft.

I have both the aqua and the solar, I have been gradually changing all my luggage to solar, as I am sick of replacing bust zips on aqua stuff! The solar is better quality and has more padding than the aqua, but on the down side does not have a side pocket for bank sticks or distance sticks and the middle divider is velcro, not a zip as it is on the aqua. I would imagine the trakka one is exactly the same as aqua, as they are much the same company now.

They do adjustable sleeves to accommodate 12ft and 13ft rods.When I emailed them to ask about more rod bags they said they are working on more products.I want a 10ft and 13ft tri-sleeve

Speero are adjustable, I just got 3 if them in DPK and very happy. Will padded and seem solid quality

I have had both and would say the Cotswold gear is some way ahead of the Trakker stuff, whether it's worth twice the price is debatable but you are paying a premium because it is made in the UK so you take your choice I suppose. I still own and use the Cotswold rod bag, sold the Trakker

Got the trakker NGX 3 rod 13ft sleeve.
Well made with plenty of padding and fits 3 rods in easily.
Decent side pocket and can fasten a couple of single sleeves to it if needed.
My own experience with Cotswold luggage is ok but not worth the extra.
Had my rhino carryall a couple of years and it's starting to fall to bits.

I briefly had the Nxg for my cat rods, utter crap. Zip broke almost straight away, reel pockets weren't big enough for my longcasts, and there wasn't enough padding. I use cotswold for my carp gear and its great, and now use daiwa infinity sleeves for my cat gear which are decent too

Have a look at the sonik sk tek compact they do them them in 12ft and 13ft 3 rod sleeve . I have 2 of them for my 10ft cracking rod bag for the money

Just picked up my NXG 3 rod and to be honest, really happy with it. Well padded, plenty of room (only have 5500 XTB's not huge pits) gone over all zips, clips and stitching, can't fault it.
