Not sure if its a problem or not but once they are switched on they continually flash if they are slightly tilted or laid flat on the floor and as soon as they are held upright they stop flashing. I know quite a lot of you have them so just wondering if its normal or if they have a fault. Ive emailed fox so will see what they say as well.

Its a bit of strange one as just watched foxes video on the scales on youtube and the set they have on the video flash the same as mine as well, yet fox are saying its not normal.

They slowly flash on and off once you've tared them but what yours are doing doesn't sound right

Cheers. Just my luck its only set that was in stick anywhere. It dosent fill me with confidence going digital after this so might have to go back to my rueben dials which is a shame as they are really compact 😞

That's my luck as well, they may well have been a return that got put back in stock. Send them back and try and source another set as they are brilliant scales. Having said that they do appear to be out of stock everywhere.

They are emailing me a return postage label and they have checked with fox and they are back in stock on the 10th so are sending me another set when they have them. Cant really ask for anymore than that 👍🏻

Vale royal angling have them,I got mine on monday for 60 after the SALE20 code. Although they have put them back up to 100 so it would be 80 now

Yeah they were 74.99 on the website a d then you could use the 20% discount code, the day after I ordered I checked to see if he had more stock for a mate and noticed the price went up

Are you switching them on in a upright position? What I'm getting at is if you switch them on horizontal, there not allowing for the weight of the hook. Mine are like this too??

I've had the newer fox digitals since release and yes the numbers continuously flash when they are laid on their side . But when I hold them upright the numbers stop flashing

Weird, never noticed it before but just checked mine and they do flash but only when upside down
must be something to do with the weight of the hook being negated like the tare function

It makes sense about the weight of the hook as the dont flash when there upright only when laid back so weight of the hook wont be taken into account. Fox obviously dont know what there talking about 😀

Its because when you lay them down you take the weight of the hook away from the zero setting so the scales think you've gone less than zero hence the flashing.
