After the mice had a go at my Trakker Levelite, I'm on the hunt for a new bedchair.

I still have an excellent condition Nash Aerolite Wide Boy, but it's going to be too big for the Trakker Tempest Brolly v2 system. The Trakker ELS did fit, but there wasn't much room in terms of length.

I'm 6'3", so may have a look at the Fox Flatliner. I don't need a sleep system as I bought a Fortis sleeping bag that I have barely used.

Anyone recommend anything? I'm also 18 stone, so I suppose that plays a part lol.

Yeah the new fox flatliner is a good choice I have it in the 6 leg sleep system version and very happy with it

I would have possibly gone with a system, but I paid out £200 for a Fortis Techlite sleeping bag, so need to use it.

Flatliner 6 leg looks good - hope and think it comes in a standard green as I prefer that to camo, plus the bag is plain olive.

The older original flatliner came in green but looking at the fox website it's now discontinued . I have the new latest model with the camo mattress surround with the lumber support

I have the camo version and have paracorded the centre section to stiffen up further.
I have to say it is now the most comfy bed i think i have snored on

I'm the same height as you and find my JRC 2G levelbed really comfy.. big enough but not massive. Not particularly expensive either. Would recommend.

Ive got the Solar bedchair (sleep system version)
And its amazing ... Honestly best bed Ive bought

Just realised it's you M.
Did you tidy up the ELS bed? The more I look at other bedchairs, the more I think the ELS looks better made.

I recently brought the Fox Ultralite bedchair to replace a mk1 flatliner. The weight difference is noticeable when holding each with each arm. Have only had a couple of hours snooze in the garden on it as it came a few days before lockdown but first impressions are that its more comfortable than the mk1 flatty

Check the dimensions though as i think it is a little shorter than the flatliner

By far the best bedchair ive had is the solar sp c-tech. Ive had fox flatliners and nash indulgence beds and solar is in another league altogether. Its so comfy and in a different league to anything else ive had build quality wise. Im 6'4 and 16 stone and i got the wide version.

Must admit, I am tempted by the Solar. £339.99 for the wide version would be the one. Bloody expensive just for a bed though, I think they have been a touch greedy with the pricing.

Are all carp manufacturers not greedy *******s!
Shop around, i paid £290 for my wide one.

Recently purchased an avid benchmark lite sleep system. Can't get the Mrs off it. Mutts take up the couch so she hunkers down in this on a Sat evening, that's how comfy it is!

if you don't like fleece tho' just get the bedchair lite, as the top part i.e. the bag, is fleece.

It only made a small hole, but I wouldn't have used it. They used the inside as a nest and also had some red robin pellets in there the sods.
