Anyone with the trakker tempest brolly 100T finding when fitting the skull cap the Velcro straps not lining up properly . I've tried 2 Skull caps and both of them the Velcro straps don't line up with the poles it's even worst on the 2 front poles their even worst out of line . Plus also find the material is not very taught between the panels seems to be worst on between the 2 back poles

Yep exactly the same on mine. I found if you splayed it out a couple of inches by unclipping the tension strap / groundsheet it helped.

Because the velcro straps on the front 2 poles are of at such bad angle their nearly pulling out of the clip and the material ain't taught properly and that's why

Mine fits perfectly fine? Don't no why yours doesn't but I have no problems at all with it, all lined up fine bud

Yeah I'm waiting for the tackle box to speak to trakker tomorrow .I emailed the tackle box the pictures and even Gary who I spoke to at the tackle box said to me It don't look right

Did you get this sorted, ive just put mine up and it seems the clips need to go on the fatter part of the pole nearer the join to give the cap more stretch but the interior diameter is wrong for this area, so ive put mine further up and you cant get any tension there as the strap is at its full extent. At the shoulder point as mentioned. But it doesnt sag its just not able to cinch up any more.. so it appears i need a larger bore clip to stay on the previously mentioned fatter part.
Could possibly do it myself with some cable cleats Let me know if you got it sorted im happy enough with mine just wondered if im missing something as im new to these skull caps etc.

When you fit the clips fit them on the thinner part of the female pole put the bolt in and slightly tighten the nut up then push the clip onto the fatter part of the pole that's the only way to do it when fitting them on the tempest 100T had the same problem on mine . Trakker only do 2 sizes of clips and the other size is for the tempest xl which are thicker poles and them clips don't fit the tempest 100T poles . As I got some from trakker and they were to big and wouldn't tighten down on the poles

I found I needed to put mine on the fat part of the joint on the pole, and not to tighten them up fully.
If you tighten them to much I could not thread the strap through.

Went through this today.. however I did have 2x sets of bolts included, I had to use the longer ones To get the clip on the thicker part of the pole to get any tension as mentioned by others.
