Been looking at getting some bait screws off flea bay and opted to purchased some from Bank Tackle. The threads look really fine, thought they'd of been more of a coarse thread for obvious reasons.
Are they all made like this or is there a supplier that has a more of a coarse thread out there?

I have some plastic avid ones that are a coarse thread.

Sorry should of said, i meant the metal bait screw type.

Any of the metal types I've used have been fine thread haven't seen any thicker ones but they seem to stay on so no stress. As said about normally the plastic ones have a much thicker thread on them and there alright aswell I tend to use a mixture of both and no drama 👍

I use the bank tackle ones on all my multi rigs, bottom wafter and pop ups no problems what so ever with the treads on them, they hold really well.🙂👍

they dont need a coarse thread they work perfect mate and less chance of the bait splitting too

Bank tackle screws are fine , I use them on Wafters and Pop ups ,they work a treat , but havnt used then on frozen baits .

Found the plastic ones pretty poor to be honest. Bait seems to come of easily? Never had a problem with the metal ones and I use the bank tackle ones as well.

My experiences are pretty much the same as everyone else, I use bank tackle bait screw and haven't had any issues whatsoever

Couldn't get on with the plastic bait screws at all

I bought sone cheap metal ones on eBay and have never had any issues with them. I use them all the time as I only fish 2 rigs, either Ronnie/Spinner Rig for pop up's or a Turbo German Rig for wafters both using these Gemini Tackle tidy booms. Like to keep everything quick and simple rig wise so the booms and bait screws are just easier for me. Use the screws for corkballs also and not had no issues

Both of the booms come with spinner swivels on them so just a case of changing the hook once blunt
