Have you looked at either raptor or proline? Raptor has a range of boats with loads of accessories. Proline produces the commando's and commando lightweights. The latter are particularly light (17 kilo's). Both brands come in handy, quality backpacks (as opposed to many other brands).

The Raptor boat with the inflatable bottom will take some beating. have used one a few times and if money is no object the one to get.

As far as money goes with a boat I don't scrimp, quality could determine life or going home in a box.. I do a bit of big water fishing in Europe and went with a raptor. Fantastic quality, and service for that matter.. the reinforced areas are exactly where they should be on a boat used for angling purposes, I actually ground mine a few times on tree stumps at Cassien and barely even left a scratch.

Didn't Johnson Ross recently say on Facebook they needed to sell a couple boats to make space at a ‘very' good price. Their words! And can't remember if inflatable or not. Sorry.

obviously raptor if budget allows. bark get good reviews and fair priced, Seago 230 is a decent boat having used one before, can pick one up new for around £330.

I own a bark 270 and value for money its a wicked boat slightly less wide than its equivalents but sturdy and made from decent strong materials I have no worries recommending it

The water it's going to be used for is around 40 acres.
Never done any sort of sustained boat work in this country so a new experience
Budget not going to allow for big bucks and if that's the case I'll fish from the bank
Lake does respond to a lot of bait in the warmer months and putting out 50-70ks not uncommon

I used to have a bark 260NP, got it on Amazon. When it was folded up I was able to carry it under my arm. If I was to guess the pack down size I'd say 48" x 12" x 12" max, if you have a long walk to your swim with other gear a barrow would be very helpful.

Did you sort one ??? If not and your still looking I've recently took delivery of a AQUA STORM inflatable dinghy...haven't used it yet but 1st impressions the quality is spot on .these are a very good price without the branded named carp tax..I paid £340 this was delivered from Germany.. ..ive gone for the smaller 2.1mtr boat has this size suits my needs however they do a good range of sizes...I ordered through a German aqua storm de agent communicated through emails.1st class comms everything I asked was answered , no issues with payment or delivery.. the boat comes with everything you need..from oars,carry bag,slatted floor ,repair kit etc.........I came across this company whilst looking at reviews on different inflatables...boats are made in Ukraine..can't wait to get out now and use it....another inflatable boat company for potential buyers to look at .....

Yes the boat does look really good and I notice they also do Air decks for the boats which can be purchased separately which Bark do not seem to supply unfortunately.
There's no price on the website though?

The dealer can be found on eBay if you search aqua storm boat.. there's an email address on that page I contacted directly.. first I did ring but the German guy spoke little English and vice versa so we communicated through email that way we translated things....
