Like I mentioned in your classified ad, Chris brown. Easily the best vfm and a bloody good net. Don't be tempted to buy a cheapy 50" ngt thing as they are utter crap, and not big enough either

Check out CnC cat products on FB.

New net to be released by Christmas and at a decent price from what I hear.

All items are made in the UK too!

Yes, a few bits to the market.

Their net (will be so im told) and sling are cheaper??

I believe they are all made in the UK - not China and the Cat trough is made for them by Cotswold, which as im sure youll agree is a top UK brand for quality

I guess you get what you pay for.

Bought a 50 inch net and pole off ebay last year for something like £20 new

Only had Cats to low 60 in it but it preformed well.

Sorry but that's no way big enough for cats of that size to be landed safely. 50" net realistically is good for 30s, maybe low 40s at best. And if you are using the cheap ebay 50 then it's most likely the ngt one many sell on there, which is not strong enough for anything imo.

I'd say they won't be compatible as the cat net is long but relatively narrow compared to what a carp net would be, the angle of the spreader block would be different but its worth asking

I have a Chris Brown carp net and it is easily 20 years old now, and may even be much older than that. It is a brilliant thing that has been used, abused and trodden ion countless times.

I find handing cats out so much easier and you don't even need a glove for anything up to 60lb.

Disagree with that mate. I literally have the scar to prove it. A 35 reared its head whilst pics taken and gave me a good scrape near my bicep. Any thing under 20 maybe, but that can be netted.

Check out Big Cat UK products. John Llewellyn produces a fantastic catfish net, built using UK manufactured products.

I have really thick skin - lol. A paramedic even commentated on it last year while trying to insert a iv needle.

The smaller cats tend to have sharper needle like teeth, but they don't penetrate deeply. I bet your scar is a scrape - just like the one a dogfish gave ne on my wrist with it's skin. I learnt how to hold them properly very quickly.

Does anyone have one of these CNC Cat Nets? What are they like, it appears to be the cheapest 60" cat net on the market,
