Superlight is from the RLX range which is different but also has roped mid section. Thats said the RLX does have a Compact version. Confusing innit!

They only do the levelite ELS rope in middle section version in the standard size bedchair they don't do a compact version . The levelite version comes in standard and compact

I use an Aqua Duvet Sleeping bag with mine, but they are no longer produced. If I was to get a new bag I'd take a good look at the Gardner Duvet Sleeping bag
but I do like a sleeping bag which isn't restrictive.

I use the original Fox Ventec on mine also have a Trakker Big Mutha (iirc name) again no longer produced.
+1 for a larger non restrictive bag.

it is..... weighs 3 kilo more than the levelite but better construction and looks more durable (IMO) and the most comfortable chair I have slept on. I'm too old to go haring around lakes now, so I'm nore than happy to bide my time and wait a while. Might be different for you if you're one of these young tyro's who have ADHD and haven't caught anything for a few hours........!

That's not an absolute statement Gerry. It's 3 kilo's heavier, so that weight has to come from somewhere and to me it looks like it's in the frame of the bed. The fella asked for info on the flatliner. Which I duly gave him. Glad you happy with what you have

Heard other opinions stating that the FX Flatliner is superior quality. Seen other reports that it is less prone to stretching and sagging after longer term use too.

make it 5 Gerry :0) ELS is by far the most comfortable for my old back, tried the saggy fox, never heard of a sagging ELS, just tighten the rope, im 20 stone and still haven't had to tighten it.
Bag for me is still snugpak yes we pay a lot for gear but you have to be comfortable.

My ELS gets more hammer than most anglers will ever give it in that I use it at home too due to sleeping issues and the wifes early starts. It gets used every week twice a week and often within the month for weeks at a time, presently I've been using it since before Xmas so over month solid nights.
In the 2 years I've owned it I've probably spent near a year of nights sleeping on it and at 6' and 15 stone I'm no light weight, so it has been well and truly tested and not found wanting. Yes its not like shop new hard but no bed will be after reasonable use and all need adjusting once they have settled to your weight. There is no sag in mine and personally I find the give that has happened beneficial to my shoulders as the ELS is a hard bed new, so I won't be adjusting it any time soon.
Naturally this is just my experience of my bed and may or maynot be relevant to other ELS.

Most beds will do that when there new pal, you'll prob find that it will be fine when you lie down and as the elastic stretches it should be fine, brilliant beds by the way !!
