Tony Hibbert has put on twitter all deposits will be paid back in full! shame its closing for a year as a good water and Keith has always been 100% with me, lots of nasty rumours on social media at moment but its Tony's business and sure he will get it right.

Hope so, we need that money to book the other lake we are going to now. Would be annoyed if we lost this venue becuase of the time taken to refund.

Tony refunded our deposit today as he said he would. Fair play to him, I think he has a bit of mess on his hands to be honest. But true to his word he rufunded the deposit we had paid

Such a shame. Saw that water develop under my dear friends Jean Marie and Giselle. I adored the place. Gutted for the new owner. Hope he can get it back on track.

Unfortunately it sounds like some fish have gone missing?
What was the number of stock roughly before?
Tony said they netted it a few weeks ago and got 170 fish up to 69.
I thought there was quite a large stock?

I would have no idea of stock!! but 170 seems low but not a bad number for the size of water!! wonder who the new bailiff will be?

Yeh Tony said they couldn't get to all the fish. A mate said that a couple of years ago the week they fished 140 Carp were caught, so would of thought there was a few hundred in there?

when I booked stock was estimated at 500+
When netting you never anywhere near the full stock, especially on such a large water

Hi guys - Seen this thread and thought i'd clarify a few things about Lac de Premier (LDP)
Previous owner let the lake run down after what seemed to be a brillaint venue. Nick & Kele took the lake over last season and have turned the place around. Rumours about stocks or fish being low or stolen are incorrect. Last year it was netted and they estimated (Not all fish get netted) a stock of around 250-300 fish. After a successful season last year (the LDP facebook page is most updated so feel free to check that out) it was then stocked and now stock levels are around 350-400 i believe.
This is the second year im returning to LDP - and the owners are the reason i visited initially after meeting them on a seperate venue.
Happy to answer any questions if anybody has any!
Jamie

I'm sure Tony still owns it, the man he trusted to run it prior Keith let him down and others, Tony has invested as far as I was told and Nick is the new baliff to run it for him.

Did they remove any of the silvers or bream on the netting does anyone know?
In reply to Post #37
I'm pretty sure they have done - the Cats have also been taken out (although it's nearly impossible to get rid of all of them) to keep Carp growth to a maximum. I had no problems with bream last year. I know there are still like in there which probably maintain the level of silvers.

I had about 5 cats last year up to 53lb (Albino) 4 of them were small and removed.
Big ones left in there to keep silvers under control.

Lads, does anybody have more info on this place? Looks really good from what limited info I can find.
Doesn't seem to be a website or anything, just a Facebook page?
