Ever since going to this from the original one, I've lost count of the amount of needles I've got through.
Compared to the older one I have a hell of a job pulling the weave back through.
Anyone use this stuff?
I choose it as it's the thinnest I can find.

I think it's very easy to splice? I just got it for a trip abroad. I use the esp splicing needles.

When I splice I gently twist the needle as I do it makes it slip through easier for the final pull for me.

You should consider using a needle knot variation, with no needle.

I used to splice, but this is so much better.
Not as suitable for the lads who want to loop on a lead stem thing but I don't do fashion over function

Try the new Thinking Anglers Leadfree, really thin and a dream to splice.

I find having a loop at each end, one larger that the other, far more versatile than a needle knot.
Are you sure?
