Is it just me that thinks that this is so unsafe for carp? That will fall of so easily when playing fish etc and getting stuck somewhere in carp intestines.

As our awareness around plastic pollution and micro plastics continues to grow, I think artificial baits need to be banned.
Once a bait is soft, these will come off and be left in the water for fish or other wildlife to eat, especially if it's bouyant.
I've seen a few companies now doing biodegradable pop up up corn, basically made from the same stuff as pop ups. This is the future surely, not more plastics.

Nash are definitely targeting a certain kind of new carp angler. I personally hate it and avoid anything Nash these days, Nick Helleur said something in his pod cast about dot to dot carping and scaffold rigs - the art of carping in some aspects is dying thanks to greedy companies like Nash 🤬

The only things I have of nash are the twister hooks and Titan. I just feel all their other products are either bulky, look ***** or pointless.

Sure they will appeal to the drum and bass playing Alan Blair clones if Nash publicise them, shouting “mega” at every opportunity...

Just had a look, what absolute junk. Your hookbait is also going to break down twice as quickly being penetrated with that screw.
Have you seen the maggot screw they have made as well

Just had a look and, I don't like the look of that at all. Their product development team haven't thought that through at all. Really irresponsible and pointless

To be honest I try to avoid Nash tackle as much as possible, unless the product is the best.
These I do not like.
It is simple to make your hair long enough to tip the hookbait with a fake piece of corn, either in the stop loop or threaded on the hair and with a bait stop (or not), or I think Enterprise do a sweetcorn bait stop.
*The 'or not' is because fake plastic baits don't always need bait stops to hold them in place. They will 'tighten' onto the hair or even the knot loop.

I do wonder what has happened to Nash I have to say.
Has the product development become too influenced by the lesser experienced angler?

Fully agree with the sentiment of poorly thought out products by kids. And this is coming from a loyal customer for eons. The balance is shifting rapidly with a wicked banging orso.
I suppose in one way the fake corn screw makes the fake corn topper craze safer if you are using a real hookbait. If you lose the rig the the fake corn floats up rather than staying on for eternity. I'd never use them, but I can't see a problem with the carp dealing with a bit of hard plastic if mussel shells, snails, crayfish claw etc pass through easy enough.
The metal maggot clip one on the other hand...I can't see how anyone can justify it? Really bad in my opinion.

Smaller fish and bird life might have a problem with it though.

Good point and one I hadn't considered.
Burn down Nash is the only solution.
