That's because he's on a mega hard day ticket, only 600 in half an acre.

It's a very good bait but I think his confidence ends once he's had it delivered 😁

I’d read somewhere they’d taken over the distribution of mainline

he's spoken about it before - they are the European distributor for mainline so he will be getting a small cut of all mainline bait sold on the continent.

makes sense him not promoting other baits & it's nothing new. I remember Carp World / Carp Talk would photoshop cover pics of anglers holding fish whilst wearing non advertisers clothing (Dave Mag / Tails Up being the obvious one).

Re Pecky - People change employers all the time & are generally expected to owe nothing to their previous companies. someone moves in fishing & there's uproar & loyalty is questioned.

I have to admit that my favourite pop ups are based on his Banana / Milky Toffee recipe recommendations but unfortunately ML have stopped selling the flavors :(

Korda do seem to be more openly (if that’s possible) pushing mainline at the mo. Makes you wonder whether Danny is looking to expand into the bait world…..

There was the suggestion he was influenced to go back to Mainline by Korda, which he flatly denied of course.

Not a great advert for Sticky, although I was surprised he jumped ship in the first place having used Mainline for decades!

I agree that nobody should care and certainly wouldn’t ever impact my choice. But it’s a great example of integrity. With anything but bait, I don’t blame anyone for hoping around. But if you’ve spent years and years waxing lyrical about how much confidence Bait Firm X gives you, to flip flop in a few weeks says so much.

I actually respect the ‘ I use this as I get it for free’ approach more than those that grandstand regards why they are loyal. Look at Jim Shelley whatever you think of him, the amount of bait firms he’s been shows that applied and presented well his results are pretty consistent.
