Thanks for the replies.

Does it provide a map with the areas you have been over or is it just a sonar ?

I would like something you could map a swim automatically and quickly , what would you need for this ?

I just sold my ND2 boat with Raymarine fitter. Imo the best bit of kit around. The sonar image is so clear. Doesn’t miss a thing, useful in weed.

Cheers Brent

I’ve got the raymarine fitted on mine but it’s on the outside which gives a much better reading

Hi , I currently own an x boat which is fitted with a deeper internally. It does the job when stationary but as soon as I move the boat the images are distorted and I get bad readings . Is this common ?

I want something which will continue to scan at low speed and ideally create me a bit of a topography map .

What do people recommend as the ultimate bait boat fish finder ?

I’m likely to upgrade my handset shortly to the new single handed one . This has a gps / pilot already on it
