We were there for 48hrs a few wks back during terrible conditions, had the lodge tucked in the corner recessed back.

Managed two fish lost 1, both mid-double commons, both at exactly 12:45 on each night. Pink pop-up singles to snaggy margin spot. lost 1 to a pva bag rig cast to area where iíd seen fish show in open water.

i like the look of lodge 2 as it covers a lot of water, only for 2ppl though so no good for us.

Will book again sometime and probably go lodge 3.

If your local please let me know of any other good waters.

I took the mrs and kids away in September to Woodlakes, we fished the Two pole lake

Its a shame they have crammed so many lodges on the two pole lake meaning people are constantly fishing over you. Our cabin was pretty much next to the Thai resturant and we had to share a swim with a stag party next door in the end i reeled in as it was carnage.

I walked the cabin lake most days and watched people baitboat their rigs over to the far margin (You use to be able to fish these margins from the bank)

Donít know where cabin 3 is but there are some lovely fish in the cabin lake, feasibly a 40, maybe, definitely 30s, itís a busy place, far different from the place I cut my teeth in the 90s. The Thai restaurant isnít bad either. Jacks does a banging roast.

The wife booked us a lodge at this place for the weekend. Our lodge is situated on cabin lake lodge 3.

Has anyone ever fished this? There is no information on their website about stock levels and emailed them but didn't get any info. Just wanted to know what to expect and what size tackle to take.

Any info would be helpful
