If you are fishing the swims in front of the lodge, you wonít need to use a row boat tbh, itís an easy cast to the far margin. So Bait boat or spod / spomb is ok.

The side swims, yes you can use row boat (bring your own life jacket)

I understand the rowing boat can be used as long as a life jacket can be used

Was thinking to bait an area heavy from the boat daily and then just top up to keep disturbance down...

Fished it a few times mate and yes that double swim definitely has a lot of water to go at

There are some stunning Carp in there and honestly, if they are on the feed - you will have a few sleepless nights. It can be very prolific, Iíve a mate that only fishes days on there and always does very well

Yeah I see that.... We're primarily fishibg for the carp and will no doubt pick the cats up on the carp gear but will be having a rod out specifically stepped up for the cats

Have you fished there before?

Know much about any of the swims.... The double swim on the right looks to command an awful lot of water

Woods is a fantastic lake, got some hard fighting Commons in there + some stunning Mirrors. Use plenty of maize they sell on site and your chosen boillie over the top, when there on it - you canít put enough bait in ,) There is also some massive cat fish in there and you will definitely catch a few of them ! Its a great social lake, the lodge is fully kitted out.

I'm booked to go out to Woods Lake on the Dormain De Goncourt complex mid May

Is anyone booked on before then or been out there end April / May/Early June before?

There's a group of 7 of us going so all swims will be being fished

Thanks
