They have stocked some nice fish into Headlands recently still busy and fished by a few idiots
A 40 out of Whinwhistle I doubt it some of the reported weights of fish you see on their FB page are laughable 😆

Headlands, haven’t been there for years. I used to fish the lower lake with my son it was easy and kept him interested. The top lake was harder but had bigger fish. If I’m down that way now it’s to go to Whinwhistle. Keepers lake is a runs water there, great fun with light tackle and a method feeder. I’m not sure that there are large fish though. The specimen lake has some big fish, it did its first forty recently, but I wouldn’t call it a runs water.

Have a look at Mopley Pond down at Blackfield. It’s on Facebook under Cadland Fishery. A beautiful place with a few twenties and a thirty. Or if you and your pal are serious you could join Ringwood and District Angling Club. A large number of waters; Wash Pit would be a great place to start.

Hi everyone.

A mate of mine has got back into carp fishing and wants to do a few nights
over the coming weeks.

Can anyone recommend some venues that he has a chance of a few bites over
a 48hr period.

If the venue has the odd bigger fish even better.

Thanks.
