Just for info for others that may be looking, I've just done 3 weeks here, 2 on Luxemont and 1 on Bignicourt
Some changes going on at the moment as the old bailiff has gone, including some feeding of carp, netting of chat and crays and a clean up. Although I must say, I caught only 1 chat in 2 weeks on lux (they're not in Bignicourt I believe) and they didn't pester me at all, but I didn't use anything fish based for bait!
My first week on lux was busy and i only fished nights and reeled in early hours most days as i was actually remote working! Think it was 20 carp in 4 nights of fishing and all very clean fish.
Second week on Bignicourt, started well with 6 carp the first 2 nights and some 3lb'ers, but then went quiet. Again I was working through the day and spent some hours off the lake every day while I sought shade and laptop power!
Third week I was on holiday and fished nearly all week. Managed 45 carp to 39lb and didn't fish a couple of nights due to storms and tiredness. As i was catching loads it was easy to just reel in and get some sleep.
The fish are some bloody strong and hard fighting fish, some went like trains and i thought were maybe catfish until I got them in to find carp on the line. My arms ached a few nights and i think the one day I fished from 10am to about 4am landed 16 carp!
Very pretty lakes, fantastic well laid out swims and seemingly plenty of pretty and strong fish in there. Very good place for a smallish group if looking for some rod bending action. The group on the week before I got there and the week I was on Bignicourt all had PBs and enjoyed themselves. I will be back

In reply to Post #1 Had an exclusive booking on Luxemont in august.
Tough start to the week, maybe due to high temps but I was also quite ill for 2/3 days but it turned around midweek and I think I ended up with 15 fish up to low 40’s
Facilities were pretty good,no weed, loads of features, great choice of decent sized swims and we all said that it has loads of potential once the fish start packing on the weight.
When they were on your bait you knew about and majority of bites were quick, it almost felt that if your bait had been out 6 hours+ then you’d probably been cleaned out. I reckon you could get through serious amounts of particle if you hit a week they’re properly on the feed. Only slight downside was it felt like there was a big head of nuisance fish including a few crays, which were devouring the bait as it went in but the bailiff said there were plans to net it this coming winter to remove as much as possible.
PM if you have any more questions

In reply to Post #3 No problem, yes still on there, though not made it down this year, yet. Fish weights going through the roof, massive potential for both lakes.

In reply to Post #1 Fished Luxemont the year it opened.
A beautiful lake In fantastic surroundings. Swims nice and comfortable, facilities weren’t quite finished when I went, but there were toilet facilities and use of a shower. Fish are amongst the hardest fighting I’ve ever encountered. I found that the fish tended to swim around in large shoals and wipe you out of Bait quickly. When I went there was weed present and if the fish made it in, without the use of a boat, we’re difficult to extract, though believe it’s been treated now. Take plenty of bait
