hi guys, the mrs clocked me looking at these reels and bought me a set for xmas. I know each reel can be different but when spooling up have you had to add or take off any washers for a completely flat linelay.

In reply to Post #28 Hi ALL
Would like to say a big thank you to all who.. replied to my question manual bail arm, been InTouch with Daiwa, they confirmed the Daiwa Emblem 45 SCW QD Reels do have a manual bail arm.
I would take that goes with there higher brand reels also..

In reply to Post #25 There are some on ebay, I think you can get them from daiwa too. I just Swapped them from my entohs and emblem spod, it actually improved both sets of reels in the process imo.
I didn't have any dedicated drag oil so I just used the sewing machine oil I use for centrepins

In reply to Post #24 Thanks to both of you that's very helpful, where can I buy felt washers ? I'm also assuming you oil them if new ?
