In reply to Post #2076 What about the 2 years before Whyte lost to povetkin in which time he was still number one contender? The 2 years he basically fought bums plus Ortiz? He was swerving ,100%

In reply to Post #2075 I dont think Wilder was worried by Whyte, especially after watching Povetkin knock Whyte out.Whyte is a tough fighter and anything can happen in heavyweight boxing,I just think Fury will make him look silly. If Wilder can't KO Fury I can't see how Whyte can,it is going have to be the punch of his life.He definitely deserves his chance though

In reply to Post #2074 How much do you honestly think he made from fighting brezeale for instance? Less than he'd have got for Whyte, the number one contender at the time when you factor in the ppv I'm sure. He didn't want it ,it's plain to see

In reply to Post #2073 I’m guessing Wilder gets a far bigger audience and payout by fighting another American, or Ortiz who massively outboxed him before the bomb landed, and not an English journey man (no disrespect but I hope you can see: my point)?
As for the heavyweight division, all I want to see is a British fighter, Fury, unify the belts, **** the yanks!

In reply to Post #2072 Who knows? But he clearly did. 3 years as number one contender, could have given one trick wilder a far bigger payday than the vast majority of the fights he took during that time, constantly being called out but making excuses not to right. My best guess is he knows he struggles against men who come at him rather than sit back to try and counter. Whyte deserved his shot then ,and thankfully he gets it now. Not that I think he wins , but he deserves to try. Fwiw I honestly think he'd beat wilder if he started fast enough to catch wilder before getting tagged himself, which isn't out of the question given the fury fights. He really isnt very good on the back foot at all

In reply to Post #2068 I don't care what you say but wilder avoided him
Why would Wilder avoid Whyte, probably one of the current heavyweights who people can land a glove on!
Fury has bet him once, what is the point?
And BTW, I like Whyte

In reply to Post #2067 I am so happy that Dillian Whyte gets his shot HE DESERVES IT AND HE HAS EARNT IT !!
dont matter the outcome the man deserves it more than most and anything could happen in heavyweight boxing glad he is going to have a decent payday

In reply to Post #2067 Whyte has been waiting for over 3 years for his title shot. I don't care what you say but wilder avoided him. It's the right fight, anything other than that of the unification would make a mockery of the rankings

See they have told Fury he has to defend his belt against Whyte
What a shower of ****. That bum Joshua should have been called out numerous times ffs
Two fights for Fury for me, Usyk to unify the belts, Joshua and out, that’s it. It’s a shame they are not so consistent with other title holders ffs

In reply to Post #2064 Could be an old school tactic that, put your head onto a fist before the hand is fully clenched, breaks the hand
Watch Eubank, used to take a lot to the forehead, no drama or real damage

Looking like Nathan will be fighting at the bet365 stadium sometime next year as that’s the plan after meeting with Frank Warren earlier.
Hopefully it could well be for the British title.

In reply to Post #2062 yep disgusting he was being given a boxing lesson and I dont think Bradley recovered from the illegal punches
