Has anyone tried the free spirit retractable telical 10 footers yet? Had scope MK1 since forever and I'm down to my last 1 so looking for a new set of 3, kinda torn between the quickdraw 4k and the telical at the moment pretty sure the free spirit has 50mm butt ring which I'm not keen on a 10 ft

Depends what your situation is, if I'm flicking chods about in winter and spring the weed is all dead and I'll use 10ft 3lb scopes, the furthest I'm casting is 13-17 wraps so that's fine but when the Canadian is up having those extra beans is a good thing, average fish in there is low 30, loads of Canadian solid bags

I fish solid bags quite a lot when I can, I have a set of 12ft 4lb kiazen greens which I find great for solid bags. The 2nd time out on my syndicate I had a 43lb common that was adamant in taking me in to the snags to my left, rod tip under the water and just holding it without letting it have any line bent the rod right over and it decided that it wasn't getting in the snags under the trees. I'm sure if I wasn't using the 4lb TC I wouldn't be able to stop it from getting under there

Sure some of it MAY be the same as what companies are selling but not all of it, take a cheap item such as the Nash bait needle that he's posted, sure it looks kinda the same but it's not the one Nash sell the temu one, looks like a temu one, a cheap copy,. If anyone is risking it with higher priced items like reels and alarms good luck to you

I couldn't think of anything worse, I don't like summer fishing or not, can't wait for autumn

Looking at it from a koi keepers perspective, just whacking some propolis on a carps wound is the dumbest thing ever, treating ulcers and wounds in fish is always a multi step approach, at the minimum the wounds should be disinfected, cleaned then a propolis or powder put on after. Just using propolis is trapping any bacteria in the wound making it easier for necrosis

Is it just me or have birds diving and swans being pests gotten worse over the last few years, if anyone has seen the cyp video where the swan was treading water to stir up the bait that's out of reach, something I've never seen before but I've just wanted a swan do just that. I'm thinking of moving to making ground bait balls so there's nothing for them to actually get hopefully they will leave me alone !!
Are you sure?
