For those on Facebook, look at Trusted Lakes France and the post by Lewis Maxwell, about the two anglers he has had to throw off the lake. Disgraceful behaviour and i hope the pair of them are not on this forum, ill cut and paste below the gist of the post, but any lake owners on here need to be aware of these two and their behaviour/rigs and threatened violence.

Local lake owners. !!!
Please be aware these individuals have just been removed from Lac des Souvenirs after numerous rule breaks, unsafe rigs ,inadequate fishing tackle and failure to abide by the rules after numerous chats, and leaving their rods in the water whilst they went out to Reims for the day and only returned 5 hours later. On the unfortunate news of them being removed they then came at me with a metal bar.
Rules are there to protect not only the fish but other anglers. We very rarely remove anglers and prefer to educate however verbal abuse and threatening behaviour will not be tolerated.
Please find attached a few clips and pics

So, haven't posted on here for ages, however. I ordered a Nash Sleep System Wide from Angling Direct on 11th July. Free delivery was five working days. The price was a monthly special of £149.99. So today 18th July I phoned as no item received. I was told the following. " Oh yes, the item is out of stock and we should have emailed you, plus our warehouse is telling me that there has been an issue with these items.,
So I asked for a refund. Got told we will give you a credit, to which I said a full refund not a credit note the customer care ( ha ha ) person got stroppy and said we will refund you I never mentioned credit. Oh and guess what their site is now showing item in stock for the same price. I have ordered the same item from a different tackle shop. Angling Direct you are truly awful.

The Mayor of New York has said that the Halloween Parade will still go ahead as planned. In fact he says he is expecting a record number of floats

This is a purely 1st impression type of review.

I decided i wanted a set of digital scales that will weigh a decent sized fish, as i have a France trip coming up and at the moment my Reuben Heaton Flyweights only go up to 40lb.
The biggest fish in the lake i am headed too is around 60lb.
So i was looking at a set of scales, that were not too expensive, compact and would weigh up to a reasonable amount.
I have just recieved a set of Korum Digital scales, they are a dark green rubberized coated scale comes complete with a PP3 9 volt battery and a neoprene case. They weigh up to 85lbs or 40KG.

They have a single on/ off push button, which is slightly recessed, so its hard to knock and accidently switch on, though if you do or it goes on in your bag, they switch off automatically after 30-45 seconds to save battery.

They have a switch on the side to go between lbs and ounces or Kilogrammes and grammes.
Having weighed an object in them, they read in lbs and oz, not decimals like some digital scales do.

To zero you just attatch a weigh sling before switching on the scale, then switch on, the scale is then zeroed to your sling, take off sling put in fish, hook up and weigh away. They then record weight which stays on the screen once it has settled for a good 30-45 seconds. The scales are very small and compact, take up no more space than my Flyweights, and all for £28.99 delivered
