Sunset is a very good peg on its day. Or look for the quietest area on the lake. Open water seems like it will be less pressured.

Fished lake 3 once a few years back and came out first. We went in 16 and 14. Decent pegs. I was in 16 and got most my fish from my tree line margin rod. Our other mates were down in peg 10 area and did well. The majority of fish were infont of them all week and never moved. I was picking the odd fish up that was patrolling the tree line. All depends where the fish are. You can always move onto them.

I have just booked on lake 2 myself for the end of July. Bit of a change this year as I normally do lake 1.

Last few trips I have been on I have seen people using bikes to go round onto the spit on lake 1. How much are they to hire and do you just ask in the lodge for one

I'm happy with it. Probably looking around ladies or 3 steps area depending on how the first 6 go. Can't see snags and slope being left though.
