Sorry just to add aswell.. Diet was a big thing too - I read about how your gut is your central control room (not your brain), and I found that pickled foods are THE best thing for good gut bacteria, and I am totally convinced this helped. I used to eat red picked cabbage or sauerkraut (£1 a big jar in Lidl) with every meal. Look into that.

Andy, I was offered anti-depressants about 7 years ago after a very rough period, including losing my job and having a 3 year old boy.

I would really think about taking them. I didn't in the end and am glad for it. I wondered what would happen if I got dependant and the drug company went bust, stuff like that (how would I know if I was out of that dark place?). Would it be the drugs or has my body rebalanced naturally?

Thinking too much and worrying too much was my problem and also the cure (it's 'what' you think about), so I focussed on real things, like nature and the realisation that actually being alive is a miracle in itself and I didn't end up being wiped on the curtains, the odd's of you being born and reading these words is beyond mind blowing. That was enough for me to force myself up off the floor.

Hope that gives you a little perspective and "don't worry too much" - everyone is different.

Are we seeing the start of a 'slow motion' global market downturn?

Starting to look at houseboats....!

Not sure about the MS account transfer TBH.
As Tinhead mentions SSD have no moving parts and last a long time, they aren't cheap and quicker read/write times, just better than a spindle one so for 200 quid it's a good deal!

Looks fine for what you want to do - a new SSD is worth the money too.

Check your monitors are Display Port on the back, if they are HDMI you can buy DP > HDMI cables on ebay/amazon

I'd personally completely re-format it and if the the win 10 licence is a corp one it can be reused, otherwise get an OEM win 10 licence which is a one off machine only for about £30, just to be safe get rid of any suspect programs re-installed.

I like to think I'm an angler, been trying for 35 years now! I've been behind some very successful brand ideas and recently been thinking that I should take it seriously.

Send me a PM and maybe an email address, I have some idea's myself that fit in with the current, and future trends.

here's a good site: https://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/ct/laptops-and-netbooks/laptops/gaming

the Asus TUF range are good, I have a 10 year old son too and thinking about getting this (a special 'one off' expensive present!), decent spec, for £600 isn't bad with the type of graphics card that's decent.
