Hi guys

My first topic 😎

I've found such different ways to spool Gardner GT HD on reels :
-spool with label facing up
-label facing down
-spinning spool with a pen or a screwdriver in the middle to keep it straight

Every year I use to prefer the pen method after 24h soaking on warm water but GT-HD seems a bit special 🤔

Any thoughts ?

So they are saying we don't know , check it for yourself. Probably the best advice you'll ever get. Good old Gardner.

I spooled up 3 reels weeks back, spool facing up (weighted down), in a small bucket of water.
Happy to say, 4 day sessions in, and I'm V pleased, no coiling and casts well.

Got to be the worst advice ever.
Try this, if that doesnt work then do the opposite... 😜💩
