Interested in any replies, as I placed an order & received a pot of GPB1 recently after following this thread for a while and although I have caught fish on single hookbaits they have always been the bright visual ones.

I have used them for years and for me the S2 always pulls it out the bag! I have had few on singles in the depths of winter so much so I always have them on one rod now...
I only fish evenings or days generally and s2 have accounted for all my pb over the last 3 years!

I knew it wasn't a criticism just thought I'd put a name to the face, nothing in your post insinuates you did know.
He's got loads of friends within industry who'd love for them to use his bait so another testament to marks work 👍🏼

I've used S2's for a good few years now... Ive had more luck with them than the garlics. It's all I ever use.... Love them in solid bags or as singles...
Had fish out of the st Lawrence on them cast as singles... these fish probably have never seen a boilie.
before.
It's funny seeing more and more anglers up in the grim carping waste ground that is the north east!
Fair play to him, his tip on supercharging maize works really well.
I've not dared the garlic hemp though.

Current turnaround is still within 7 days at the moment. All orders up until yesterday at 10am, went yesterday barring two.... We are so incredibly busy now though so not sure how long that will last now the GPB2 are on the website.
Order today, they will go out on our next delivery which will be Tuesday after the bank holiday mate.
And thank you for the kind words...

Ginger Ricci is a God, apart from being ginger ovbs. Yeah he works full time, employs many people and he has a stunning missus too mate. Drives around in a £100k motor. He has one official day off of work a week... The ginger ninja, he's also one of the nicest people you could ever meet in life.
Ricci was a part of a truly exceptional year for my business in 2018/19 results wise, one that I am very personally proud of.
Ricci was top rod on Wingham... He absolutely devastated it.
John Cash was top rod on White Swan... He absolutely devastated it.
James Sherman was top rod on Frimley... He absolutely devastated it.
Three of the very busiest syndicates in the country. All full up with sponsored anglers who can fish when they want. Nothing exceptional about the above for us... Until you consider that ALL THREE of the above anglers work full time and have young families. All three have a successful work and family life.
All three will not go fishing without our hook baits, for jolly good reason. None of them get paid to go fishing. They earn far better money in 'real' life. None of them get paid by us.
In fact John was offered a lot of money, by the biggest bait firm around last year who were already giving him free bait... Just to not mention our hook baits again in public... He left said bait company, told them to poke their cash & free bait and went elsewhere, because he has principles. That is how important our hook baits are to his fishing.
All of that above makes me feel quite proud

Johns articles are good, I do think going where he has for bait is a step down from where he was, sort of a testament to the hookbaits that results havent changed lol

I would not have a clue about that, and don't really want to get involved about other bait companies, they have nothing to do with me Mozzi.
John was smashing lakes using our hook baits and particles for years, long before he was offered free boilies by anyone. Don't think he's too fussed. I have enough to deal with for SHB, without worrying about anyone else's business.
We have had a completely new type of hook bait, ready to launch for a while now. But the GPB2 has completely taken up our spring, even though that's not a new hook bait as such, as it's just a heavy fishmeal variant of the GPB1... Demand for it has still meant that we have been far too busy to even contemplate releasing another different hook bait yet. I also have the Tackle Box and Fish-On screaming at me for stock.
These are the things I worry about.
