Hi all
Old member returning to the forum after a few years away from Fishing. Becoming a grandad and my love of 2 (and 4) wheels has used up a lot of my time.
Having been a member of SDAA (Shefford and District Angling) for many years then moving to the Priory in Weston for a few, I took a couple of years away (unintentionally, it just happened).
I am back on the SDAA ticket and am hoping to get some more time on the bank.

A returning member, according to my profile I joined January 2006 quite possibly earlier.
Gave up carp fishing 10 years ago mostly due to family and work commitments,
I was having clear out in my loft and thought I'd better start using that gear again.
Probably take a few day ticket sessions to get the bug back, failing that spend the winter as a keyboard angler waiting for fair weather.
Ain't getting any younger

You're like a lot of us, dont put pressure on yourself, just enjoy it when you can and it suits you. I stopped enduring, and just enjoying a long tine ago.

Welcome back
Hello everyone!
New here & from the Kings Lynn (ish) area.
I'm coming back to carp fishing after a long 10+ year break - it's true what they say it never really leaves you!
Tight lines & I look forward to chatting.

AUP everyone.
Long time lurker who has finally joined up.
Real name is Ash (bennysamways is my Instagram, sorry!) and Ive been an angler for 35 years in an around Bedfordshire, 20 on the rivers chasing barbel and chub whilst the last 10 or 15 years have been almost exclusively carp fishing.
Love this forum; mainly the pics that Mark puts up in the SS hook bait thread (of which a couple of mine are in there!).
I'm obsessed but take it about as seriously as Chris Yates does.

Welcome to the forum.
We could all probably take a page out of one of Chris Yates books from time to time!

Hi all, Looking forward to gather more tips and help where I can! Tight lines!
Good afternoon all.
New to the forum, after more than 10 years off the banks.
Got the buzz again following a recent 3 night trip to a lake in Essex, sorted all my gear out, replaced old gear for new in places.
Back out next week, cannot wait!
Great forum with some really great threads
