Might be worth having a look at your Report On Purchase from your Solicitor.
If the previous owner had signed the section where they agree to remove all rubbish from the property then you have a legal right to chase them up to resolve the situation, if you so wish.

Told you Friday is the worst day to move🤣🤣
You mention Artex removal, there was asbestos in Artex before 1999 you need to have it checked.
If it is being removed get it done professionally if it tests positive.
I've got this feeling this is going to turn into a Tazi type thread before year end.

Yeah it's part of the contract for sale. Unfortunately once the money has transferred and the keys are gone, people give no ****s ..
I'm moving next week. Bloody hate this part of it, packing stuff into boxes and trying to convince kids that they don't need EVERY BLOODY SIFT TOY AND POT OF PLAY DOH THAT EVER EXISTED...

Not removing the artex just skimming over it seemd and easier and cleaner option.
Ill get the mrs to look at the contract of sale thing thats been mentioned its not alot of gear its just cheeky

Personally I'd sort out the rubbish myself, yes you shouldn't have to deal with it but it's probably less stress than trying to force someone to do something they don't want to do.
What sort of stuff is it? Advertise it for free and you may be surprised how many people will collect.
Seems you've got things under control, maybe you can update us with what goes right and what goes wrong, hopefully not too much of the later. We don't need another Tazi thread. Good luck

Fully fitted with nothing to do maybe but enough in to make it useable is possible.

Yer i agree its not gonna be worth the agg when i get a sjip ill just bin it with my gear wont be a problem just a bit annoyed they would leave some bits behide shed loft and garage

All ceilings now plastered.
Bathroom has been delivered starting installation tomorrow (wed)
New bolier was ment to be fitted Wednesday also but now bee. Put off till Friday.
Paint decorator is starting tomorrow also.
Hoping to get couple of the bed rooms done first so at least the kids can become comfortable 🙏
They also started there new school Monday which was worrying that if there like it and if we made the right choice to move schools. But they enjoyed it Monday and loved it today. Love the playground and school dinners 😆
So things going OK so far.
Builder also took a little lean two extension down on the front that now makes the front looks 100x better.
Ooo also ordered 10 planes of glass and a new double glazing unit. Glass to replace the dated lead crossed windows and the double unit to replace the single glazed window in the boys room. The little extension/ porch thing had another window that went infront of the boys one so that helped a bit but just didn't let enough light in.
Kitchen still due on the 12th.
So fingers crossed things are moving. Slowly but surley

Wren just because the easiest. Made to measure type thing and can add all the appliances. £500 for a Integrated microwave tho haha. And having the builder install it. Wrentham was like 3+k for installation and that's without connecting services and moving sockets. Had quotes as low as £750 to install but went with the same bloke who's doing rest of the place.
