That's one of the best fish in country, it's from Dinton black swan. It's a pretty elusive 50+.

It's been caught on S2's numerous times. Loads, and loads.

Is it that Spike?
I know there's a few of those crazy lins in there. What a stock.
Absolutely mint fish either way.

Quote... Now how many bait company's would name that, I like a bit of honesty.

We have never had any problem whatsoever naming any bait company... That is never reciprocated though.

I'm actually blocked from one of the countries largest bait firms social media pages... I only noticed earlier this year. This, despite having NEVER made a single comment on there, ever. The sole reason I am now blocked at a guess... Is because literally so many fish posted on their page, are caught by our long term customers, using our hook baits.

Gave up caring long, long ago... Learnt to just take the money and smile.... The carp grapevine & word of mouth, is strong enough to overcome that. If anything, it probably helps us, stuff like that. People are not stupid.

Hi mark just come across your hook baits and can't make up my mind which to go for I usually fish over cell or krill is there any flavour that compliments either of them well?

Cheers
John

Hi John, sorry for the late reply, I managed to sneak off fishing for a couple of nights.

Any of them mate. The S2 works particularly well with Cell, but then they work with absolutely anything. Try the S2 and the Garlic. Both will work really well with both of the baits you mentioned.

Worse, trust me John

I had a double figure bream, fishing at 500m+. I did not think there was anything on, as I pumped the weed bed in the first photo back. I had to walk it backwards all the way to gain braid. That's 1km walked, along with arm breaking pumping, to get that weed bed, and monster bream back.

Then I thought that I would pack up before the heavy rain came yesterday. Put the bivvy away, the sailing club were about, so I had to reel all the remaining three rods in from 500m+. All had to be walked. It took me over an hour and a half to get those three rods in. Another 3km of walking backwards and forwards, and my arms literally ruined... Just too reel in three rods. It's far easier when there's a carp on, straight in the boat out there on speed 5. Cannot do that to retrieve leads though with an active sailing club about. I was absolutely drenched when I finally got into my car.

The second photo, is a different weed bed to the first. Each rod had one the size of a small car attached. Getting that back from half a km away is brutal. My arms are broken.

Today I feel like a need a holiday. Fishing is meant to be relaxing

Scott is a legend Yonny. He caught so many fish on our coated S1 & S2 it was obscene. He ALWAYS promised me, that when the last of them died... He would give me photos of all the Frensham Leney's that he caught on an S2. I never got the photo of the really special one. If I recall rightly, he caught that one more than once on an S2.

He got the job with Thinking Anglers, obviously part owned by Sticky, I nearly cried when I saw the photos pop up on social media a couple of years ago. Especially that really special one.

Good luck to him. It never used to be his job, it is now. He is the nicest bloke you could ever meet. I think the ones below were Mill Lane fish. I have loads of great photos of Scotty K.
