And the lad at Baden Hall who had 2 cans of Redbull while I chatted to him for 10 mins, he was like a cat on a hot tin roof, swapped swims 3 times in a hour.
PMSL. Think I might start and take a can
Was on the Trent the other day, knew I should have moved swims again and didn't
I fished a day ticket for a couple of nights a few years ago, lad come past me for a 24 hour session with a slab of Stella on the barrow, went the next day, bloke in the next swim told me he had done the lot lol
I bet that gives you wings

To start I'd like to say I hope he succeeds in business and in life even after my earlier comment but I have a genuine question, Is he making a very good living and what would make you think that?
Unless your his accountant how would you know, it can sometimes be all smoke and mirrors in business, here is my thinking he only incorporated the company in 2017 and most startup's dont make a thing in the first three years lucky to pay back any investment and take a reasonable living from it, at that point from when he started unfortunately covid kicked in which luckily for him producing fishing content he was quite quickly entitled to carry on with where a lot of other activities went on hold for months on end and plenty of businesses folded off the back of it, Fishing was one of the mass participation hobbies least affected so you could say he was quite lucky, the tackle companies and shops had their best time in years it also coincided with a lot of people stuck at home and gorging in online entertainment which probably also no doubt helped his subs, also if he qualified due to when he started he may have been entitled to the small business deposit of 10K from local council or a Boris bailouts/bounce back loan, who knows plenty did and have still never paid it back.
I'd say the next few years will be what decides his and others like him to be a success or failure, as a business model circa 80 pound a year for a full sub means he needs a constant 6250 anglers a year staying fully subscribed year on year to turnover half a million which as we know isn't profit, depending on overheads/outgoing's and if he's the only one drawing a wage from it then I'd say he's doing well, and his accounts are not anywhere near that at the moment.

His admin needs sorting, that's an understatement

Free bait, free gear and pays himself to go fishing. Even if he's not making a fortune in profit he's made a nice life for himself. Fair play to him.
I subscribe for a bit, cancel for a bit etc. Mainly for the long form interviews with some more interesting anglers. Although they do seem to have dried up a bit.
Never had a problem cancelling with the bank.

Well, he had £114,564 cash at hand in July 2022 as his abridged accounts on Companies attest that.
I'm not his accountant but its fairly easy to get a feel of his position and the company's success by looking at the ltd accounts from 2020 onwards
But in light of the general theme in this thread, the cancellation approach is poor, very poor. Almost intentionally difficult. Cypography took proceeding month funds from me despite repeated cancellation requests. In the end, I just cancelled the Paypal repetition. It's the only way to be entirely sure with the firm.

When i went to cancel my subscription their cancellation form didn't work and certainly not in their 10 working days quote, it was only after i stopped my bank payments i finally unsubscribed.
Judging by others comments i am not the only one this happened to
