How many UK energy firms have gone bust in the last year mate? The UK is a massive user of gas with a just in time policy for receiving it, tiny amount of storage as I've said previously, lots of European countries have 20 times our storage facilities.
The market will set the price for ALL. Those with the biggest wallets will be at the front of the queue. Putin weaponising gas is a one shot gun. He'll never get the chance to fire it again, he knows that and it's highly unlikely he'll waste it over Ukraine.
Putin more than likely expects and is working towards a pro-Russian insurgency East of the Dnipro. It all depends now on if and how hard the Ukrainians fight. It's not a popular war in Russia, despite the Russian propaganda and spin. They need it to be quick, very quick. The insurgency if Russia achieves it's military goals could turn Ukraine into Russia's Iraq, but even worse.
The West will no doubt up the anti and support Ukraine. Which will lead to more death and suffering amongst Ukrainians.
It's the beginning of the end moment for Putin hopefully.

There's winners and losers in situations like this. Ukraine will do the losing for as long as Putin decides. That's painfully clear already. What's the cash out price Putin has is more interesting 🤔. The EU will certainly do a full member fixed price, fixed amount deal on gas with Russia.

You can be sure that war ends in peace. The winning of this war on the ground was never in doubt. The condition's of the peace are why this action is taking place. He'll do that deal with the USA and EU, not Ukraine.That is Putin's only unknown outcome.
