You cannot put this in one bait depending on season day conditions temp barometric pressure ph and so on

Atm using scientific baits and catching its more location and a decent bait that works than getting caught up with change to this and that

Do ya self a flavour and not fall into the bait trap find a bait supplier at a good price test it on tank fish so your confident they eat it. I have always done it on a few and then pick the best some are more attractive than others and you need hard hookers as small fosh will smash them and find your way

I also just wanted to see what everyone else has confidence in and use that to start some where.

As the song says "anything goes" Not much agreement. Bread, maggots, casters, sweetcorn, Luncheon meat, tigers. Who needs boilies?

However have total confidence in ABS Malarkey as well.

Used to love Trigga and Big Fish mix when Bill was the head honcho. Only changed to the other baits when Nutrabaits went downhill.

I was thinking about using paste around the lead

Been useing paste round the lead a bit this season but find that I foul hooked a few with a short hook link

Not a fan of paste around the lead.
Wrap it around a hookbait or a spiral hair spring thing.
